SS Forgotten Love: Part 8
***Outside the Khan House***
"I came here as soon as I can. Aap dono sure hai na? Zoya ko sab kuch bata ke hum bahaut barha risk le rahe hai. Aur agar Asad ko patha chal jaye ga...woh toh pehle se mujhe pasand nahi kertha..." Farhan asked Dilshaad and Zeenat as he entered the Khan House.
"Aaisa kuch nahi hoga; Asad ko kuch nahi patha chale ga. I can assure you of that. This is one risk we have to take. " Dilshaad replied.
"Jo humne tumhe usse batane ko kaha tha, tumhe bilkul waise he batana hai. Everything from your engagement breaking to what happened at the airport with Asad that day. " Zeenat added.
"Waise aap dono ab kyu usko sab kuch yaad dilwana chaha they ho? And why do I have to tell her everything? Agar Zoya ko phir se kuch ho gaya tho? " asked Farhan. He understood what they were doing, but he wanted to know the reason behind it.
Dilshaad and Zeenat smiled while they recited about how Zoya was having second thoughts about the engagement and how she said Asad twice instead of Farhan, and she didn't even notice.
"Maine dekha hai ki Zoya kitne confused hoi we hai. Tumhe usse sab kuch isley batana hoga, Farhan, kyu ki main Zoya ko bahaut aachie thara say jaan the hoon. These thoughts are going to keep troubling her until she doesn't tell you everything. Tum uske sab say aache dost ho, aur woh tumse jhoot be nahi bole ge." Zeenat finished off.
"Don't worry Farhan, mera dil kehta hai ki ab sab kuch theek ho jaye ga. Asad keh saare problems aur thakleafay ab jald he kathum ho jaye ge. " Dilshaad replied sadly.
Farhan placed his hand on her shoulder, feeling bad for everyone around Zoya, who had suffered so much for so long. He hoped that Zoya would be back to normal before they knew it. Revising everything once more, Farhan made his way towards his best friend's room.
***Zoya's Room***
Allah Miya what's wrong with me? Zoya said to herself and she sat on her bed.
Ab toh Phoopi be jaanti hai ki main Asad say...Asad say kya Zoya? Kuch nahi hai hum dono ke beech main phir mujhe aaisa kyu laagta hai ki kuch...Why am I pulled towards him? She was in tears, trying to sort out her confusing and complicated feelings.
"Tun tunha! I'm here! Did you miss me sweetheart? " Farhan announced with a wink, as he slid into her room. Zoya rushed to wipe her tears, but she wasn't quick enough"he had already seen them.
"Zoya? Kya hua? Tum theek toh ho?" Farhan immediately became serious and sat next to Zoya.
"I'm fine...just...aaise. Main bas yeh sooch rahe the ke Phoopi mujhe jaante thak nahi the aur phir be unno ne mera itna aacha keyal rakha. Aur main unne bahaut miss karne wali hoon. " Zoya lied while playing with her fingers.
"Kya tum bhool gaye ki main tumara best friend hoon? Mujse toh tum jhoot bhool hi nahi saak the. " He placed his hands on top of hers, "Jab be tum jhoot bolthe ho, aapnie fingers khe saath khelne laag the ho. Saach Saach bathao hua kya hai? " he asked as he wiped her tears.
"If you're not comfortable with this engagement we can just..."
"Aaisa nahi hai Farhan. I'm just confused. Ek taraf maine khud tumse nikah karne ka pasla kya hai aur doos rahe taraf Asad..." Zoya closed her eyes as she let Asad's name slip out of her mouth.
"Asad kya Zoya? Don't worry, I'm with you, but for that I need you to tell me everything. " Farhan said on purpose. It seemed to him that Zeenat and Dilshaad were right about Zoya having feelings for Asad again.
Zoya began crying silently again.
"Mujhe kuch saamaj nahi aah raha hai. I feel...feel..." she hesitated to continue.
"Feel what? Khool khe bathao. " Farhan pressured her to spill everything.
"I feel
attracted towards him. Maine pehle isse ek stupid sa... crush samjhe ke... ignore karne ki koshish ki the lekin ab...I can't control it anymore Farhan. I don't know what to do anymore. " Zoya kept pausing to take a deep breath. She tried to stop crying but the tears had a mind of their own now.
Farhan hugged her tightly and opened his mouth to tell her everything Zeenat and Dilshaad told him to say.
Nahi Farhan tum itna badhara risk nahi le saak they. Agar Zoya ko kuch hogaya toh? Tum usse sab kuch yaad nahi dilwa saak they. It's better to keep quiet. I'm sorry Phoopi and Aapi, I can't tell her everything."It's ok Zoya. Tell me everything"from the beginning, when you started developing feelings for him. " Farhan broke out of his thoughts and patted her back. He sat up straight, held her hand, and nodded for her to start.
***Dilshaad's Room***
"Dilshaad Bi hum kya yeh saahe ker rahe hai? Maine Farhan ko toh samjah diya lekin aapne aap ko kaise samjao?" Zeenat asked. She had been worried ever since Farhan went to talk to Zoya.
"Patha nahi mujhe be yeh saahe nahi lag raha hai lekin Zoya neh itna progress kiya hai, I think it's the right way to go. But I'm still having doubts. Ab sirf Allah he jaane kya hone wala hai. " Dilshaad replied sadly.
The two woman has been pacing around the room, unable to concentrate on anything else. One part of them said they did the right thing but they were scared; what if this did more damage to Zoya instead?
Dilshaad stood up and headed for the door.
"Zeenat Bi, mujhe lag tha hai ki humne galti kar the. Humhe Farhan ko rok na pare ga. " She said as she opened the door. Zeenat agreed and the two hurried downstairs to stop Farhan.
***Zoya's Room***
After Zoya told Farhan everything, they got into a deep conversation; Farhan was trying to convince Zoya about something.
"Now you just forget about everything Zoya. Ignore and try to forget everything that happened in the past few days. Ab chahe kuch be ho, humare saagai kaal perso ko ho kar rahe ge. " he said as he got up. Zoya stood up and hugged him once more.
"Thank you Farhan. Tumare bina main saarie raat confused ho ke he bethat hi. Tumne mere saare problems solve kar theay. And don't forget, kaal soobeh hi humhe aapnie engagement rings magane jaana hai. "
There was a knock on the door and Dilshaad and Zeenat stepped in the room.
"Farhan? Ek minute humhe tumse kuch saagai ke baare main pooch na tha. Kya tum bahar ah saak they ho? " Zeenat asked.
"Aapi, Phoopi kya baat hai?" Zoya curiously asked.
"Kuch nahi Zoya bas ek cheese main Farhan ka opinion chaye tha." Dilshaad spoke in.
"No more tears alright? I'm here if you need me. Bas ek phone kar de nah. " he whispered. "Good night Zoya. Kaal mil they hai theek hai?" He said this out loud as he walked out with the two ladies.
As they walked away, a sleepy Zoya closed the door and laid on her bed.
"Woh toh bas... ek stupid wala crush tha. " she said as she fell asleep.
