Hey Sangeeta, always good to read your views on the episode.

Today, I really enjoyed the episode. Asad showed character growth. I have been cribbing for weeks that he hasn't voila the CVs throw today in. Any day where there is a visible change in behavior from Akdu I will count that as a positive.

The apology scene - I loved that scene. It showed the tension between both characters beautifully. Asad acknowledged Zoya as part of his family and even agreed that she may have proof that proved her point but you can't fault him for not believing her this time. Today, when Tanveer effectively outsmarted her a neutral in the situation would believe Tanveer just based on cold, hard facts. While I hated that Zoe had to apologize - it highlighted two things:

She apologized solely for Asad and he knows it, and
He winced when she did.

Asad was not happy that she was apologizing even though he asked her to. It could either mean that he believes but wished she had proof or that he already knows himself and is playing an elaborate game to trap Tanveer.

Dilshaad witnessed Tanveer's not so subtle smirk and was not happy that Zoe was apologizing. Maybe the women in the house will begin to notice BR a bit more carefully now.

Rashid overhearing Zoe apologizing was interesting. I wonder what role he is going to play.

Thanks Pri. As I mentioned to Harini above, generally the three of us are on the same page but looks like I have a different POV today. In fact, after reading your posts, I went back and watched the apology scene again. That wince or shutting of his eyes after she said sorry was more of an expression of relief IMO (thank God she said sorry...phew) and not an expression of pain on Asad's face. He did understand that it was hard for her to say sorry but he wanted her to comply to the set of rules that govern his household- that is respect the guests.

I am not sure if Asad is playing a game here because if he suspects Tanveer, he wouldn't let her stay at his house. He would never risk Zoya's life if he knew Tanu's intentions.

Also, as I mentioned above, the Dilshaad Rashid scene foreshadows a similar fate for Asad-Zoya. At some point Zoya will shut Asad out of her life like Dilshaad hung up on rashid...

All in all, I am happy the train has started moving again...want a story not a circus lolz

I am happy the story is moving forward...I love Vaqar and I am happy he will be back. Even though he has been shown to be spineless, I feel there is a lot of depth in his character and we will be surprised as time goes by. Also loved the wink from ayaan😃

Whatever the interpretation, Asad improved a wee bit today (for me the fact he did not yell is very big -cos i had resigned myself to seeing that scene) and hallelujah!, the story moved!

I loved the Rashid twist and am more intrigued by that... Yes Vaqar is a very good actor even though so far Rashid has been a painful character. I want the Rashid and the Ghafoor tracks to unveil soon. Both Vaqar and Tej are such brilliant actors... instead we get to see Billi!

I think Rashid will somehow prevent Asad from making the same mistake that he did. Lets see what happens...

Lol Sangeeta, I think we don't fit any exclusive audience category right now😕 and yeah, if he just wake up all he need is one step in right direction and he will completely floored by all of besties lies and games. He knows address of her factory, he can start from there. Its no brainer..

I also like both Karan and Surbhi a lot, and that is sole reason haven't missed any serial till date, watched the crappiest ones too😕. But then there is limit and when actors even cannot relate to their characters for long time, then its time to change the track. Hope Gul's team understand this much, and understand the effort these two are putting in this lackluster scenes.

BTW one thing is for sure, Nikaah is happening and mehendi might be last ceremony with Tanveer before that. if Nikaah doesn't all the viewers will run away as they are putting up with all the OTT Tanveer track for that only.

Yes, Vineeta- Asad wants to be blind when it comes to Tanu. Even today, he didn't want to listen to any explanations from Zoya. He just wanted the matter to be buried so they could all live in peace. He just needs to pick the phone and find out the truth about the factory- which he will not!

Of course, I have a soft corner for KSG and the day he starts repenting, I will melt and forgive all of Asad's mistakes lolz

I agree, after all this circus, nikaah tho hoga hi + montage is suggestive of nikaah

We rarely disagree Sangeeta, but I am going to have to today.

Zoe would have apologized regardless of Dilshaad. Because right now, going against Asad would have put Tanveer in a better light and she would have done anything to make sure she Tanveer didn't get the upper hand (or any more than she already has). They focused in on the scene when Asad winced and closed his eyes - what would be the necessity to do that if it was only more of his Tannu jaap? It is already established that he is worried, cares and trusts Tannu, so that scene can't be for Tannu, in my opinion.

Regarding Dilshaad-Rashid and AsYa. Their stories are parallels in some ways but today was not the first time Dilshaad has shut down on Rashid. She did so effectively at the Valima when she told him that for the first time she understands why her son hates his father. In fact Rashid's role here is going to be positive in some way, just haven't figured out what? The purple is what I think is possible.

I would love to see more of Vaqar and Tej...yes, they are better negative characters than Billo. I hope Rashid helps Zoya and prevents Asad from making the mistake he made. Yes, asad has come a long way but still has a long way to go :)

Let me know if you change your mind after watching that scene again. Will check out the other prediction...she is quite good actually

@Pri - yes, thats what had come to my mind. In case he was wincing because of his great affection for Tanveer, they wouldnt have focussed on that scene. We all know Asad cares a lot for Tannu - has been established in all possible ways the past 2 months. The fact that they zoomed on his wince meant imo that he doesnt like doing what he was doing - making Zoe apologize.

Or as Sangeeta put it, maybe it is relief that Zoya apologized without a fight though it didnt look like that to me... Will try rewatching the scene!

Yes - Rashid will intervene and ensure that Asad doesnt become a Rashid -2!

Now if I get a hospital spoiler today or Monday - I pledge that I shall not crib about Jammy even if he stays entwined in her arms in the upcoming episodes! 😆

I rewatched the scene - didn't look like relief to me. It was more like he knew he shouldn't have asked her to apologize. Look at his dialogues before that scene plays out. He mentioned twice that he believes that she does have proof. He may not know what Tanveer is up to but it feels like he does trust that Zoe wouldn't have said this if she didn't truly believe something was wrong. I think post today's scene with the burn fiasco we might get to see an AsYa confrontation where Zoe might actually get her point across (lets hope).

Plus Dilshaad's expression were of great interest to me. She knows something isn't right.

@Del, just watch the scene again, and you will see what Sangeeta is trying to say. I loved that scene and his closing the eyes was like icing on the cake(Zoya's heartfelt sorry).

But before the scene could sink in, he comes to them, didn't even give full look at Zoya and said Tanu are you OK? and MSK had evil grin. He touched her arm and she grimaced which Zoya noticed.

Now they added that just for Zoya to notice that but it took away all the feelings from why he closed eyes. Sorry but they just showed how alone Zoya is this fight today, she confronted in front of all thinking one will support her but everyone she trusted on, ditched her. Their faces said it all, they didn't bash her but then, no one was with her either..

yeah...that's rare but just goes to show we are all individuals first and that the writers of this show are smart people :)

i am not sure if she would have. She knows Asad's protective attitude towards Tanveer. The fact she called her a liar in front of everyone shows that she isn't afraid to be put down in front of Tanveer. It's out of respect for Dilshaad that she apologized

i think it was an expression of relief that Zoya apologized without creating further fuss

I would love to see Rashid stop Asad from making the same mistake as he had once made but the question is, will Asad ever listen to Rashid? The reason I feel that scene foreshadows AsYa is because of it's timing. I have seen that the PH generally plants clues right before another track is about to start. I think it's during this phase, Ayaan or Rashid might help AsYa resolve their issues...let's see
