Zoya vs Tanveer
Badi Bi vs Razia
Haseena vs Nikhat
These three parallel tracks are going to test the patience and intelligence of all the contestants and the audience alike.
I am not going to elaborate in detail as my post yesterday – 'And the cat fight begins' highlighted a lot of these aspects (esp Zoya vs Tanveer)
I enjoyed today's episode because we got to see our real Zoya- the Zoya we all fell in love with in the first place.
Vigilant- Zoya is back to being the observant and vigilant girl. Her Tanu radar is on full alert now.
Thinking- she knew Tanveer would have hidden the parcel in her bathroom or bedroom. Loved the way she pulled it out from under the sink.
Witty- with Asad. "Patang udha rahi hoon, aap bhi udhaayenge?" "Itne alag hain…. jaise aap insaan hain aur main ek alien."
Teasing- She smiled when Asad made the statement, "plate aur chamach alag hain lekin wo ek doosre ko complete karte hain." Loved that surreptitious smile when she had her back facing him. I bet she knows what he wants to say but then turned around and teased him, "absolutely NOT!"
Sweet little liar- Her back sprain drama so she could search Tanveer's room.
Not afraid to confront- the dining table scene. She almost had Tanveer but the clever billi found an escape route.
(Pri, the credit card statements wouldn't help here because Billi found a believable story to con people with.)
We missed her shayari today. That would have made it a complete Zoya package on SJ's birthday.
Asad- as usual oscillated between his umpteenth attempts at a confession to reprimanding Zoya for pointing fingers at Tanveer. Thankfully, he didn't lose his temper. He is a man who needs facts and until Zoya can provide factual evidence, he will not believe Zoya or give her the benefit of doubt. I sure hope, he does become more vigilant around Tanveer. Again, I am glad there was no confession as it would be meaningless at this point.
Zoya- It's quite evident that she knows what Asad has been trying to say to her. Why is she acting ignorant?
I have two theories on that. One, she wants unconditional acceptance like we all want. She knows that unless he trusts and respects her, his words won't mean much to her. Or, second- she is still hesitant to completely open up to anyone. Her fear of rejection makes her jump two step backwards when she sees Asad getting too close. Only time will tell what's going on in Zoya's mind.
Tanveer- She is on full alert mode now. Her enemy has sniffed her lies and deception. Today, she wiggled out of Zoya's trap but how long will she continue to escape? On the other hand, Zoya will need to get solid evidence before she can bust Tanveer. Looks like, she realized this today. Hope Zoya will not confront her with little clues but come up with THE big evidence that will have Tanveer trapped forever. Let's see how this plays out. From the precap, I wonder if Tanveer's zealousness to wear the bracelet gives Zoya a clue about her motive.
Overall, I enjoyed the episode for feisty Zoya and Asad-Zoya cute dining table scene. KSG's expressions were adorable. Can't believe he is capable of turning into an angry young man after such an innocent puppy face.
Let's hope, as the cat fight continues, Tanveer continues to dig her grave deeper and deeper.
As I said yesterday, Asad will be the biggest hurdle for Zoya but hopefully, one day, he will see the light at the end of the long dark tunnel owned by his childhood best friend.
