And The Cat fight Begins…May 28, 2013
"Ek mayan mein do talwar nahin reh sakti." This is an old saying in Hindi and couldn't be more apt for the current track in QH. It was just a matter of time that these two women, each vying for Asad's attention would one day become rivals. Not that they have not been rivals from day one; but what was a subtle enmity is finally going to be an open war. A face off is in the works.
While the Tanveer was on duty from the get go, Zoya has just woken up to the consistent platter of inconsistent and unusual stories that have been served to her.
Tanveer- the slimy and experienced con. Zoya- a kind hearted, vigilant and smart woman.
Tanveer- Who lies for herself. Zoya- Who lies for others
Tanveer- Asad's childhood bestie. Zoya- Asad's love of his life.
Tanveer- The sweet 'tehzeeb ki dukaan'. Zoya- the independent woman with a mind of her own.
Tanveer- a woman who could kill without blinking an eye. Zoya- couldn't even harm an insect.
Tanveer- Asad's responsibility. Zoya- Asad's lifeline.
What will happen when these two forces collide? Fireworks, yelling sessions, strategies to upstage each other, name calling and verbal altercations. The war has begun and in the end, we know there will only be one winner.
Ideally, truth should always prevail over lies. That's what we would all hope for. We all want Zoya to win hands down. They all have been duped by Tanveer for way too long and it's high time, someone pull the plug on her devious ways.
There is no doubt that both women will try to prove themselves right. This means, Asad mian is going to be in a quandary soon. Who should he support? The woman who has been his friend since childhood or the woman who he is about to marry? He has recently promised Tanveer that he would do anything to help support her in life and also promised his Ammi that he would confess his undying love for Zoya. Which promise will he keep?
The next few days would be an acid test for all three of these characters.
Asad- even though he is eager to confess his love, I am glad he hasn't been able to. No confession would mean more than his ability to demonstrate his trust and respect for the woman he is going to marry. If Asad supports Zoya, listens to her theories and tries to reason with her instead of jumping onto conclusions or ignoring her concerns, a confession is really not necessary, is it? By the same token, if he blames Zoya, refuses to believe her or verbally thrashes her, any confession of love for her would be meaningless and hollow.
Zoya- this will be a test of her vigilance and patience. She is on the right track and I am glad she has started her investigation cautiously. Unlike in the past, she hasn't been impulsive about confronting Tanveer. Even though the Meher Creations website is functional, she decided to order a kurti from her store as websites can sometimes remain active even if the business is bankrupt or no longer in operation. Smart girl! Zoya knows that she will be treading on egg shells. Asad has blind faith in his childhood friend. In order to prove Tanveer's lies, she needs solid proof. She knows Asad loves facts and he will never believe in hearsay or go by Zoya's intuition. She would have trapped Tanveer today if Asad had not bumped into her today. Believe it or not, he will be her biggest hurdle in the quest for truth.
Tanveer- She has been a lucky girl. Even though a lot of her plans have failed, she has still managed to dupe everyone at the Khan household and also managed to keep Asad from confessing his feelings for Zoya. How long can she keep winning? Now that she knows that Zoya might be a little suspicious, is she going to rev up her evil plans by a notch? I am sure she will. That means she will take more risks. Taking a risk could backfire too. Let's see if in her desperation, she ends up ruining her whole game plan or is she clever enough to escape unscathed and even win the prize she has been working towards?
Ironically, if Tanveer is the biggest hurdle between Asad and Zoya, Asad will be the biggest hurdle between Zoya and Tanveer.
The test of love has just started for both Asad and Zoya. Let's see if they win this battle or end up bitter and heartbroken at the end of this catfight.
P.S: Does KSG look bored these days and SJ look overtly tired?? I don't see the passion in their acting that I am used to seeing. Hope it's a temporary phase. I am sure they are overworked and deserve a break. Hope SJ can get a day off on her birthday and KSG can get a day off with his wife on Jenny's birthday. I want to see refreshed AsYa- passionate and into each other like before. Their chemistry is what drives most of us and I would hate to see them lose that spark
