I also agree with you on this.
Like you said, Tanveer is still the same old childhood friend for Asad and Zoya is someone who has just entered his life. True, that Zoya might be the love of his life but that does not mean he should believe her (without any proof) and change his behavior towards Tanveer, see her as a liar.
Indeed, he will regret every mistake later on when everything gets crystal clear. That is when his trust on Zoya will begin and from there on he will start to trust and believe Zoya, even she has no solid proof but he will at least listen to her or just question her (in a positive way) about why she is saying certain things. So yes, it will take time...

hi,
trust issues regarding Asad agreed!! But I really want to give credit to Zoya for thinking about the underside of the drawer and finding the parcel. After that touch of brilliance a little bit of failure can be tolerated. After all Zoya darling needs to realise whom she is pitting against. Right? By the way Asad looked damn cute with all that cutlery.😉

Same goes for Zoya..he wants proof..That's just his personality..it doesn't mean that he didn't love his mom during the Gudia Sazish and it doesn't mean that he doesn't love Zoya..some people just have trust issues and they don't believe anything unless they find something tangible to believe, see with their own eyes, hear with their own ears!!!
He is completely different when it comes to Tanu, agreed! She acts a true bicharee around Asad so he feels for her...That's why this is gonna be a life lesson for him-his blind trust in Tanu--he even went against his mom during Gudia Sazish--then why different with Tanu..thats whats gonna kill him (not literally) once Tanu is exposed---but all this doesn't change the fact that he loves Zoya!!! Asad is gonna regret big time for changing his rules for Tanveer just because she looks like a perfect person--Asad is gonna learn to not judge a book by its cover!!! But we all make mistakes--we all sometimes close our eyes unintentionally when we really need them opened.
Asad is a complicated man--but Zoya loves him with all his flaws and so do I ;)

Great response!

i agree asad has trust issues with zoya per he has full faith on tanveer bez tannu behaves like perfect girl for asad she never gave him chance to suspect her but zoya is not like that she is opposite of what he thinks of perfect grl so it take time to trust her and understand her

No one doubts about his inability to trust others but here no one is asking him to trust Zoya blindly either. What we want to see is that he lets her complete her statement and doesn't jump onto judge her...it's very plain and simple that he blindly trusts his friend but in doing that should've he also have an ounce of faith in the woman who he supposedly loves ...what about giving Zoya the benefit of the doubt? Time and again Zoya has proved her innocence...and he has realized that he was wrong in judging her. Yes, trust comes with time but here Asad has never made an effort to trust her...he has always judged her and its a vicious cycle which needs to stop.

Did you see what happened today? He let her complete her thing. He did not interrupt. He followed her into the room. He let her speak. He did not shout at her.

He has started changing. Give him some time 😊

Yes, I agree..
His behavior/reaction today is realistic and justified
given the situation..
