Just remembered, I do not think Zoya ever told him about the fire. She did scream at night and everyone came in to the room. Asad even thought it maybe associated to the bonfire he had made but Zoya did not tell him that it was actually that fire causing her all that distress. So, benefit of doubt here to Asad I think.
