Chapter 3

The next morning Asad was up early and pacing around in his room thinking about two things that he had to accomplish. The first telling Zoya that he loved her and also finding out the truth about Tanveer. He debated this for a while and then decided to go see if Zoya was up. As we was making his way out of his room he heard his window creak open and he then saw his little brother jump in through the window. He sighed and then walked over to him to see what he wanted so early in the morning.

Asad: "Aayan what are you doing here this early in the morning? And get off my coach look you are getting it dirty!"

Aayan: "Bhai-jaan this is no time to be concerned about your sofa. I have come to see you because this is really important I need to talk to you about this and it cannot wait."

Asad: "What happened Aayan? Is everything okay at home? Is it regarding Nikhat and her nikaah with Imran?"

Aayan: "No bhai-jaan this has to do with you and Zoya. No sit down and tell me what you were doing yesterday with Tanveer? I mean she is just your best friend! Not your fiance! I mean how you can be treating Tanveer like that in front of Zoya when you guys will be married in less than ten days! Bhai-jaan how is this even fair to Zoya. Who bechari itni heartbroken hai...I mean she cried and poured her heart out to me yesterday after the accident. Bhai-jaan do you have any idea of how much you hurt her just because of how you treated her and how you showed more importance to Tanveer?"

As Aayan looked up to his bhai-jaan to see why he wasn't getting any response from him he noticed the pale face and the anger that was building up in his eyes he could also play out and see guilt in his eyes to.

Aayan: "Bhai-jaan what's wrong? Why are you not saying anything? Did I say something wrong?"

Asad finally came out of his thoughts and then thought that he had to first talk to Zoya about this and then deal with Tanveer. With that he got up and started to leave.

Asad: "Aayan go home...I can deal with this. I will fix things with Zoya don't worry okay I won't hurt her this time.

Asad quickly left his room to go talk to Zoya as he was making his way to her room the front door opened and he saw his ammi walk in with Tanveer. Asad clenched his fists and tried to control himself from yelling at Tanveer. Tanveer looked up at Asad and gave him a weak smile. Asad looking her up and down and noticed that the skin around her arms and neck were burned. His anger flared as he realized that Tanveer was lying to his whole family trying to gain sympathy from everyone. But he had to find out first what she was after. Asad pulled from his thoughts and noticed that his ammi was staring at him with a quizzical expression on her face.

Asad: "Assalaam Alaikum ammi."

Dilshad: "Walaikum Salam beta. Where are you going?"

Asad: "Ammi woh...woh actually I am going to check on Zoya to see if she's awake and okay. And I also had to talk to her about something important."

At that Tanveer's ears perked up and her curiosity got to her. She had to go find out what Asad wanted to talk to Zoya about. She just prayed that he wasn't going to confess his feelings for her. At that Tanveer thought to speak up to help change his mind so he wouldn't go see Zoya.

Tanveer: "Uhh Jammy... I think we should let Zoya rest I mean the poor thing must be so tired after what happened to her last night. I think its..."

Before she could even finish she was cut off but Asad.

Asad: "Tanveer what I do or don't do with Zoya is none of your concern if I am going to see her and to talk to her it should not matter to you as she is my fiance and I am her to be husband. Please do not forgot that and stay within your boundaries and now that this is personal family matters and your only a guest in this house as a friend for a couple of days.

To say Tanveer was shocked would be an understatement. She didn't know what to do besides nod her head and make her way to her room. As she turned to walk around she looked up to see Zoya and Najma standing there with bewildered expressions on their faces. Asad saw her staring at something and then turned around to notice that Zoya and Najma were standing there with a shocked expression on their faces.

Asad: "Najma will you please go help ammi in preparing breakfast today. I need to talk to Zoya about something so she won't be helping you in preparing breakfast."

Najma: "Ji bhai-jaan. Ammi shall we go and get breakfast ready?"

Dilshad: "Yes Najma lets go and leave these two to talk to each other."

With that they left to the kitchen to start the preparations for breakfast and Asad turned his attention to Zoya who was still dazed and confused about all that had just happened. Asad stepped towards Zoya and he grabbed her hand and pulled her towards her room. Before Asad stepped in to close the door he noticed that Tanveer was still lingering around in the living room pretending to do something. He shut the door and turned to look at Zoya. Just as Zoya was about to say something Asad put his finger to her lips and asked her to be quiet for a little bit. He pointed towards the door and told her to watch. Tanveer in the meantime was fuming with anger after Asad had behaved so rudely with her. She was waiting around to find out what they had to talk about and right when Asad closed the room door she made her way quickly towards Zoya's door. She quietly walked up to it and put her ear to the door. Right as she did that the door flew open and she fell forward. She saw Asad standing there and thought that he would catch her but he didn't and instead she fell straight on her face. She mumbled under her breath for her faith and then quickly racked her brain for some excuse.

Asad and Zoya both stared at the door and saw a small petite outline coming towards the door and lean up against it. All of a sudden Asad grabbed the knob and pulled the door open and they both saw Tanveer falling over on her face. She quickly got up and looked around nervously. Before she could say anything Zoya spoke.

Zoya: "Allah Miyah, what's wrong with you Tanveer! Why were you eavesdropping on our conversation?! Do you not have any manners?"

Tanveer looked up at Asad for help but he was just staring blankly at her.

Zoya: "Hello Tanveer?? What are you looking at Mr. Khan for? He will not help you in this because you are at fault."

Tanveer couldn't take anymore of Zoya's bickering and was about to retort back to her to tell her to mind her own business when Asad interrupted her again.

Asad: "Tanveer what is all this?! Zoya is right so do not tell Zoya to mind her own business when she didn't do anything in fact your at fault here. So please stop blaming Zoya for something that she clearly did not do! Now if you don't mind will you please give us some privacy so we can talk?"

With that Asad slammed the door in her face and then turned again towards Zoya to finally explain to her his weird behavior ever since last night and this morning.

Zoya: "Mr. Khan will you now please explain to me what this is all about I mean when we are not getting married and this is all fake for you why did you say all that to Tanveer when you were talking to her earlier?"

Asad: "Zoya please just listen to me this is what I have been trying to tell you for the past few days but one way or the other I always got interrupted or something would happen. Zoya what I said out there was all true every singly word I truly meant it. Zoya I want you to know that...I...

But before he could continue there was a knock on the door and they heard Najma calling them for breakfast.

Precap:

The slap resonated within the entire Khan Mansion. Dilshad's eyes were burning with rage as she looked at the people who had just shattered her dreams.

Dilshad: "Tanveer how could you do this to us! And Asad tum how could you do this to Zoya! How could you betray her! Look at her bechari is heartbroken! What have you done to her! Aur tum Tanveer don't try to act innocent in all of this either!! You are more at fault in this then Asad! If he couldn't control it you being a woman could've have somehow handled the situation!"

With that Dilshad turned around to gather up a broken Zoya how was sobbing uncontrollably. Zoya held her hand up to Dilshad and asked her to stop she looked at Asad with tears in her eyes and then turned around to walk away with a big grin on her face.

Hey guys so I finally updated this! Sorry it's short but hey at least its something! Well read and comment and tell me how it was and if I should continue with the next chapter!
