Armaan hurries and checks Asads pulse. He says "we have to take him to the hospital right now" Zoya is crying cos she cant believe her fate. WHY does it bring her so much pain!! WHY ?? Why cant she just be alone!!
At the hospital
The doctor tells Armaan and Dilshad that he's critical cos hes losing too much blood.. And he needs blood.. luckily Armaan's blood matches and he says that he'll give Asad blood..
Dilshad is praying to Allah "ya Allah please save my son" and when she remembers Zoya, she starts to become more stiff.
At the Maliks house (Armaan and Zoyas)
Zoya is constantly crying and looking at the payal asad gave her on their sangeet day but then she has flashbacks of how he gave her the symbol of their love -the one payal
*FLASH BACK * Zoya was excitedly waiting for her Mr Right outside in the garden... She hears his footsteps and quickly becomes all shy and red in the face... As he comes closer to her she tries to run away but he catches her and holds her tight from the back.. Her breathing becomes heavy and her heart beats faster.. She becomes weak on her knees when he whispers in her ear, "Zoya," shes shocked! He called her ZOYA!! Wow. "I want to give you something that will tell you what my mouth isnt able to utter"
Zoya knows what he was trying to say and starts smiling... He turns her around and sees that shes all shy and pulls her more closer to him, he sits her down on the bench and gently takes her foot in his hands and places it on his thigh.. He then puts the payal slowly on her left foot.. And says to her that " i wi keep the other payal, " Zoya replies " WHY? mr kanjoos ahmed khan.. Gve me the other payal too" he slowly moves his lips closer to her ears and whispers " the other one is for me.. It will keep busy when i'm on businesss tours after marriage" zoya becomes all red and playfully punches him and they both start laughing"
*END OF FLASHBACK*
Zoya gets herself together as Aayan and Najma are watching her they innocently ask " mum? Whats wrong?" And then the caring Najma tells zoya " mum dont worry Asad uncle will be okay" Zoya looks up at her children and opens her arms out to them they run into her arms and gives her a tight hug she kisses them and tells them to be good cos she will leave them with a child minder and They both agree
Zoya comes to the hospital.. She sees Asad all pale and has bandage over his head. She becomes all teary and wants to go inside the room and give her Asad a tight hug! But then reality hits her and She curses herself for thinking of hugging a stranger (as she would say cos she didnt see or speak to asad for 8 years and he betrayed her by marrying Tanveer so shes hurt and heartbroken by her firstlove which is why she still hasnt forgotten about him and wishes he was still hers.. And she was his but now shes a mother of two... Its all gone.. She cant go back to being the care free Zoya who loved her Akdu ahmed khan more than anything.. Shes the wife of Armaan Malik.) she quickly wipes her tears when she hears Armaan and she walk towards him and he embraces her tightly " oh godd did i miss you soo much baby, how are the kids? They must be scared" zoya nodded while hugging him.. He then asks her " baby i'm sooo sorry i didnt know he was gonna faint..but i have to say that Sarri looks soo sexy on you" and that makes Zoya smile and he winks " we'll have fun tonight " she playfully slaps his chest "jokes apart, go and console Asads mum shes been crying ever since" Zoya feels nervous...
.. She sees Dilshad sitting on a bench crying.. Zoya doesn't know how to console Dilshad after all shes seeing her after 8 years .. She slowly walk towards her puphi unaware of how angry Dilshad is with her..
She puts her hand on her shoulder and Dilshad looks at her with red anger filled eyes. "Take your dirty hands off me" to Zoya who gets really hurt.. Zoya sits next to her feeling very awkward and slowly starts " i know you're angry with me but you dont even know the full story and you already came to conclusion... Puphi this isnt you.. Please hear me out."
Dilshad turns to her this time with pain in her big eyes.. " WHY?"
Zoya stares at her puphi with her big round eyes and answers " puphi i had to.. I had no choice... He left me with no choice but i to do that"
Dilshad wipes her tears and this time asks her again "Zoya, why did you run away from your nikaah? Why?? You know Asad and the rest of us were shattered we were left in a situation where i had t-" zoya interrupts " he was 'SHATTERED?' Oh really? Puphi it was all his fault.. He made me run away from him.. Iii loved him. I loved him more than anything puphi and what did he do? He slapped all my love across my face by accusing me of hurting his "TANNU" he was obsessed with his child hood friend and i just couldnt marry a psycho that didnt give a damn about his wife to be yet became a bodygaurd for his bff." Zoya is now angry. Dilshad puts her hands on Zoyas hands and tries to calm her down.. " betta Asad loved you. ONLY YOU.. He was only sympathetic towards that girl" dilshad hates her so much that she doesnt wanna say her name.
She hugs Dilshad ..
" puphi he didnt love me and he didnt care about my feelings either, he showed that he cared more about Tanveer" Dilshad is shocked and she asks her "how did you know he Didnt love you" she replies " cos puphi when tanveer burnt her arms he told me in the hospital that Tanveer means everything to him, i mean who does that? I was his fianc and wife to be and tells me he cares about someone else and wants to protect them. "
Dilshad to Zoya, " beta that was because he was very good fiends with her and he felt responsible for her" Zoya replies " but i was his FIANCE , why didnt he feel responsible for me when i was about to get killed on the sangeet day? Instead he made it look like i was his friend and tanveer was his fiance"
Zoya felt anger in her towards asad.
"Why did he marry tanveer when i wasnt there.." Dilshad clenches her jaws " you ran away and she came forward to keep my respect by marrying my son so that i didnt look like a fool cos the bride ran away from my own home. Also Zoya if you had ever cared and loved me then why did you run away?" Dilshad is now hurt.
"Puphi you will never understand,"
"PLEASE ZOYA BETA TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED THAT DAY?"
Zoya starts telling her the story with big tears in her eyes " on the nikaah day, Asad barged into my room and he hurt me so much by holding my arms tightly and telling me he hates me for trying to kill tnaveer on the sangeet night, i was shocked i had no words.. My voice was gone. He then said he would rather marry tanveer than her cos atleast tanveer is tehzeeb e afta wali girl and she cares about others unlike me who he finds selfish. Then he pulled my wedding dress of my hand and ripped the dupatta of it to show me that our relationship is like that ripped dupata but he was soo mean to me that day that i had no choice but to run away from the nikaah cos i felt like he was gonna reject me there and then and before anymore humiliation i had to go.. Puphi i am so sorry!! But puphi i came back.. I came back and Saw Asad already married to tanveer.. Thats when i came back to New york forever"
dilshad had tears in her eyes and she told her the truth about Tnaveer aswell Zoya was upset cos Asad had to go through so much but was glad that his TEHZEEB E AFTA BF wasnt a goody two shoe after all and that now he wont be judgemental towards anyone..
Zoya and dilshad were unaware of Armaan who was standing there with 3 cups of hot coffee which falls on his hands burning his fingers! Zoya hears his scream and runs to him! She sees his hands go red cos of the hot coffee and quickly asks him to put it under cold running water in the other room next to Asads.. Armaan looks at his innocent wife and forgets about his pain.. He is madly in love with this crazy and naiive girl.. He is glad that her Aapi had got her married to him.. He remembers her 8 years back when he first met her on the aeroplane when both were coming back from india with broken hearts.. As his Riddhima had married her best friend Sid. And teared his heart into million pieces and when she confided in him and told him how her first love had broken her heart.
Dilshad comes in asks if hes okay and then Zoya tells him off, with tears in her eyes " Armaan!! Are you a baby? What if you had burnt your whole hand? Huh? I am worried as it is.. First Asad faints and now you do this to your hand! Urgh i dont know why i always love the foolish guys--" she stops and realises what she had said.. Arman becomes a bit uncomfortable when he hears her say she was worried for Asad but then brushes it off as he knows Zoya is very caring and that Asad is no one to her anyway.. He smiles and hugs her tightly..
Dilshad sees the love in his eyes for Zoya and feels a bit happy and sad at the same cos Zoya was supposed to be her daughter in law... Her Asads wife.. But sighs.. And walks out leaving the wifey and hubby still hugging tightly..
Dilshad enters Asads room and sees that her son has hurt his head really badly cos it was bleeding and the doc tells her that if he falls again he can lose his memory forever or maybe go into coma and could result in death! She becomes scared and kisses her son on the forehead "'my son destiny has always put through so much pain but not anymore, i am taking you back to india.. And will make sure you get the love you deserve.. Zoya is already married-" at this Asad moves his head and clenches his jaws.. Dilshad sees that he wasnt sleeping he heard everything.. She becomes scared for Armaan and Zoya's marriage as her son will do anything to get what he wants.. To win back his Zoya...
Armaan asks the doc if he can take Asad home now..
Armaan to Dilshad " puphi-" he looks up to see Dilshad shocked and asks " can i call you puphi? " dilshad nods and he smiles " puphi, i want you and Asad to stay at my house for now until Asad's health improve and as his personal therapist i wanna make sure i am there for him all the time and help him fight depression! He is like an older bro to me so i feel responsible for him and wanna look after him as i had no siblings of my own and with you being there would give me another motherly figure in the house, please say yes!" Dilshad wants to say no but Zoya interupts and says " yes it would be better to have your son in the house where Armaan can look after his heatlh..
They reach the malik house:
Aayan and Najma are fast asleep says the baby sitter to Zoya who smiles and gives her children big soggy kisses!
Armaan calls his friend Reyhan to bring all Dilshad and Asads stuff from the hotel to his house as from now they will be living in his house..
Dilshad is thankful to him.. Zoya and Armaan takes the guests to their rooms and says goodnight to them..
At around 11pm Zoya wakes up and wants to check up on her Asad.. She walks to his room and finds him dast asleep.. And she was about to leave when Asad calls her name "Zoya" in a very soft and hurt tone.. Zoyas eyes wells up and she goes to him.. He sees her all teary and mentally slaps himself for hurting her once again.. She looks at him and starts sneezing, Asad smiles at how innocent she looked when she sneezed "you had jelabi's didnt you?" Zoya's consecutive sneezes stop and is shocked as he still remembers.. When she was in distress she used to eat Jelabis like her best friend khushi who taught her how to make jelabis and once she made jelabis for Asad too but she ended up sneezing soo much later she has a slight smile that at least he remembers something about her and was about to say "ye-" and then stops and looks down at her feet and says "No, i stopped eating jelabi" Asad chuckles.. " i know you're lying cos you're looking at your feet and i remember when said "joot ke per nahi hote" since then when you like you look at your feet! Oh Zoya.." Then he stops and looks at the hurt Zoya.. He wants to ask her why she ran away from him on the nikaah day and then remembers his rude
behaviour towards her that day so he doesn't blame her for runnig away..
Zoya leaves the room cos she felt suffocated...
