And btw everyone on this forum has a right to find issue with a characters way of thinking without having to be questioned for it. People are angry because he deserves it - simple as that.

You are not angry and that's your prerogative but some or maybe most of a have an issue with behavior at lacks logic and sensibility!

Asad did not comfort Tanveer! He came up to her and said that the attack was on her! and then Tanveer caught hold of his hand! That is not comforting! He ran up to zoya! Hugged her! asked her if she is ok! that is what is comforting!

I have seen Asad crying for Zoya! I can very much see his love for her! It is extremely obvious to me! To some people it might not be obvious
