PAAART CHAAR with a side of achaar

Zoya's diary

Dear Diary,
Last night was magical, but he's horrible. He ignored everything, and then had the nerve to try and apologize but I must admit my Akdu is such a cutie when he sings well tries to manofy me...I hope that's how our life will be. The past few nights of sleep have been terribly hectic, I've been having the worst dreams not dreams but nightmares...and they all involve asad...so here's the first nights dream...so we're at the dinner table him and I...and he asks me to pass him the achaar...and the table just keeps getting longer and longer further separating us...and I keep trying to hand him the bowl and eventually reaching out to him...saying Asad...Asad. The more I reach the further he got. Then the second night my dreams got more intense...after almost losing him before the nikaah had really opened my eyes, I had even confessed my feelings for him but he didn't hear me, because he was unconscious. So i was saying my dream. So in this dream, the anxiety was worse...I was locked in a glass room with no exit, and everything around me was set on fire, and outside of my glass was Asad...trying to get me out or get into me...and I slowly feel the air around me disappearing and Asad just goes further and further away from me. And just then I wake up and find myself snuggled deep into his embrace and nothing has ever felt so at home especially after such terrible dreams.

Dear Journal,

I had the most terrifying dream...Zoya and I were being chased by mamu from Mangalpur...and I just left her...there...for another woman...I've proved to be Rashid Khans son...maybe not thru my literal actions but thru my unconscious thoughts... I've done my best to ignore her today, although she did her best to be noticed...what type of challenge is this Allah? Why can't I love without being reminded of my history...I want to, I truly want to. Zoya woke up this morning almost screaming in tears...and what did I do? I got up and walked out...when she may have needed me the most...I'm truly sorry Zoya...I don't know how I can make it any better...but ur better off without this hopeless man.

Dear Journal,

ALLAH MIYAN! What's wrong with him? One minute he's snuggling me as close as possible the next he's running away. First offense. SECOND' he ignores me ALL day, refused to notice I wore a saree aaj. But there's this pain in his eyes..one I can't seem to understand...it's just there...and even when he ignores me I know he notices me. Glancing over at mr occasionally. Sharing tiny smiles here and there. You know what I'm going to make the second first move and just tell him AKDU I love you.
