WOMAN! How, HOW do you manage to make me love every chapter more and more every time!?
Asad's horror at finding out about who Giselda is and increasing the security was very enlightening. He now knows what he's dealing with. He's done nothing wrong, but he knows to what extent they're willing to go for what they want. And now that they want Zoya, and he feels responsible for her, he'll so what he can to save her. It's nice to see him doing it out of sheer justice. He knows it's wrong to send her back, and that it's right to help her. And he openly admits it to himself. That's refreshing from Asad Ahmed Khan.
And the phone call. His horrified expression at having scared her again was so good. I love that he was still thinking about and why it affected him so much. He's already realizing the effect she has on him. Like no other woman ever has. It reminded me of Asad and how he was remembering the way he ill treated Zoya after Dilshad was shot. Thats the face I imagine him with at that moment. From anger to realization, to confusion to guilt and regret. So well written.
Ayaan's confusion as to the change in Asad is also awesome. I love you for putting that in. It was very necessary because he is slowly putting a bigger dent in his belief that this man is not all stone. And can actually behave like a normal human being, with emotions of his own, and concern for those of others. Even if it is rare.
Zoya misunderstanding Ayaan's uneasiness as a need for air was understandble, but I feel so bad for her here. When she does find out, it'll be a huge blow to her. And I'm worried what it'll mean for her trust in Ayaan. But knowing you, you already have something up your sleeve. (I'm pretending I didn't read the most recent chapter yet 😆).
AND THE ASYA ENCOUNTER. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that she didn't immediately push him away or scream at him. The way they took each other's sight in was beautifully written. Really amazing. I love how he was still thinking about it even after she ran away, and how she fit with him so perfectly. Aww and he recognized the dress he gave her in the elevator! So cute! Poor guy didn't want to scare her more. I was actually surprised he tried to apologize AGAIN. She really does have quite an effect on him.
Noor, Noor, Noor. You can't just make an appointment with the biggest industrialist in the city? But I'm sure she'll find a way. I love love love how much she cares for her best friend. It's really heart warming.
