However, QH already has an established connection between the leads that goes past the romantic connection. This nikaah is crucial for all the mysteries to unravel and of course fulfill the synopsis and Zoe's destiny of bring two families together.

Thank You for this post! She'll be completely heart-broken after this revelation. I'm pretty sure wedding will happen and this show isn't about love-triangles but more about accepting each other. I'm not even worried about Ayaan-Zoya. All I can think about is everyone's reactions after revelation of Ghaffur as Zoya's dad, him accepting Zoya as his daughter, Zoya accepting him as her dad, Asad's reaction to this revelation, his acceptance of Zoya after finding this harsh truth, Zoya's acceptance of Asad after finding out his dad is indirectly her mom;s murderer, Dilshaad and Rashid's equation, Zoe-Humeira relation and so much more. There's so much more than Asad-Zoya's love-story. All relations are so complicated and I'm so looking forward to see how they accept each other and how these two families unite. I still remember during Gudiya revelation episodes, when Asad saw those remains of dead-body and said something like has Rashid ever realized how his 'mistake' wouldhaveimpacted the family and what they must be going through. One could see how disgusted he was at Rashid and how painful he felt just thinking what family must be going through after losing someone. How would he react when he finds out that family is no one else but Zoya? That would be one hell of a scene. More than anything I'm looking forward to all these revelations and their after-effects. To make things better, we have actors par excellence. I can imagine myself bawling my eyes out!

I agree IPK wouldn't have been much without Arnavs misconception, however as good as Sarun's chemistry was the show was silly and an insult to what a true romance should be. The lead constantly insulted the Khushi's financial status and honestly there was not emotional connect between them till much later in the show. So, while IPK was good it was good only because of the actors chemistry. The story itself wasn't great.

On the day of shadi (wedding) the Nikka is normaly done. Nikkha is the official Muslim marriage agreement where both the bride and groom have to say Qabool hai 3 times. After the nikkha comes the Rukhsati (sending off) takes place, when the groom and his family will leave together with the bride. The Qur'an is normally held over the bride's head as she walks in order to bless and protect her. Only after the Rukhsati can the marriage be consummated. Traditionally after the rukhsasti the next day is the walima which is held by the grooms family and is considered a celebration implying that the bride is now a part of their family.

Often now a days if the guy is studying / working abroad or for financial reasons the families do the nikkha and walima (optional to do with nikkha or wait till rukhsati) but not the Rukhsati. Once the couple is ready to live together as man and wife the families do the Rukhsati.

So i am guessing that the nikkha will be done. They might go to Ajmeer for blessings before Rukhasti and the major twist happens so the Rukhsati doesn't happen.

As for Rasid knowing appi / jiju in the article on maha sangam it said that all characters will be at the sangeet. I cant explain any other reaon how all characters would end up there otherwise. Specially since Dilshad told them not to come

Yes Ayaan will be a positive influence for ASYA.

IMO Mona and Robert will unite the family, Asad is hot headed. Ayaan gets emotional really fast and acts impulsively. Zoya is the only one who uses her brain!!!
