But this revelation might be the ultimate blow to what she can take...we have to remember she is completely shattered too...IMO, much more than Asad is and she is been living life with a happy mask...the revelation might break her and this would might be the turning point in Asya's relationship where Asad truly realizes his feelings whereas Zoya has completely withdrawn...then starts Asad's journey to win her back with Ayaan's help.

Do I even make sense? Maybe I am over thinking Sangeeta...

You are making a lot of sense! This what I think will happen too. There won't be a physical separation but an emotional one of epic proportions. It won't be that Zoya hates Asad or anything of that sort but maybe her heart will finally have had enough of being dumped on. She'll probably transform herself into a quiet person who now refuses to see the bright side of things, no gutter shayari or irritating her Mr. Khan which will of course make Asad realize how much he loves and misses those facets of her.

A good writer with an eye for drama will see the massive potential to have AsYa married. There are just so many emotional heart-wrenching stories that can come off it. Whether it be the truth reveal, the fall out of Rashid being a murderer, Asad and maybe even Dilshaad this time standing behind Zoe in her attempt to put Rashid behind bars for said murder, her struggle to know her father who she knows is not a good person, Zoe and Humeira's relationship, Razia playing every game in the book to make sure the ultimate truth doesn't come out. Badi B possibly helping AsYa (because she does know the truth)...just so many things. In the beginning you can also play the comedy angle of watching AsYa adjust to married life.

This marriage just opens a can of possibilities and Gul should (and I personally feel will) tap into it!

My idea on how things might play out-

1. Nikaah.
2.Partial truth of Gaffur
3.Razia manipulates the situation and convinces everyone that Rashid killed her mother.
4.Actual truth.

You hit right on the nail! I cannot see how this show can progress WITHOUT the nikaah. It adds to the suspense.

Every individual is thinking according to their respective perceptions.

It won't happen, and going by all the jadu tona and other crazy stuff they are showing, i am pretty sure they will make Shireens words come true atleast for now. I can bet anything that there will be no wedding, although as a fan I would want it to happen, but sadly it's not...any ways I will be proved right in a few days. I've watched IPK a gazillion times, it required the marriage to take place and that's why it happened but still it took a LOT of episodes to get there...Another show Geet, the marriage happened in episode 220.

Yeah I really can't see how it progresses without the nikaah either. if it does it will be a convoluted storyline to add unnecessary drama when she doesn't need to.

Arshi got married in feb of 2012. Plus the story at that point did not need for Arshi to be married. It was Arnav's ego and misconception that led to him forcing an innocent girl into a contract marriage.

However, QH already has an established connection between the leads that goes past the romantic connection. This nikaah is crucial for all the mysteries to unravel and of course fulfill the synopsis and Zoe's destiny of bring two families together.

Pri...you just nailed it...this Nikah is so very necessary for the story to go farther...the impact it will have after the Nikah will be immense on the characters...it intrigues me to think Zoya's reaction if when and when Rashid's involvement comes to the forefront, keeping in mind that she played as a catalyst between him and Dilshad. Just imagine the emotional roller coaster that these two will go through...not to mention the initial adjustments they have to make in the same room.

This Nikah will make a lot of sense.

Actually, I think they have been a couple for a while- not in the traditional sense but spiritual sense. They have never been apart since they met and the only time they have been separated, they both lose their essence. Asad goes bonkers and Zoya becomes lifeless. They are just bad at articulating but they have a very strong bond and we will feel it when they do get separated.

wished they would have emphasized on the bond a bit more...he needs to trust her, at-least realize that very fault is not hers...I think I am a little frustrated with the disgusting chicken fiasco...

Asya's marriage is very much required for the script unlike Guls's previous serial.
