I wonder where gul comes up with these jashns from! jashn-e -saughat, jash-e-bahar ... never heard of these before! :P Have you guys?

Nope! Though I am not a Muslim but still never heard of any one of them...not at least at the last Muslim wedding that I attended...😆

no never... I tried searching on net but wen I searched for for Jashn-E-Bahar its giving 100 results of song "Kehne ko jashn-e-bahara hai from Jodha Akbar.. Then I gave up..

I am a Muslim and i never heard of it but i asked my parents and they said that some people do these types of things on their wedding.

I have seen similar ceremonies on Pakistani serials. Mera Naseeb for example where the brides take part in a ritual wearing flower earrings and bracelets. Zoya has those in the recent pictures. So they are there but with a different name I suppose.
