Hi guys!😊 I'm back! Actually, I'd posted this last night but some stuff got muddled up so i erased the whole chapter, i was too sleepy last night so cudnt post it yesterday itself, but this one is edited and there are no errors. I'm extremely sorry about how late I am with the update, but I'm here now with another update. Before I start, here's a lil recap of what happened in the previous chapters: Tanveer had plotted against Zoya. They'd gone shopping and tanveer said she was gonna go to another shop and zoya agreed. Suddenly a man had appeared and kissed her. Unknown to her someone was taking photographs of the scene, which was actually tanveer's plot. When zoya gets home she is greeted by tanveer who asks her irritating stuff. Tanveer later on shows the photographs to asad who is shocked and asks her to get out.but najma is still confused. Najma goes and confronts asad abt it. Tanveer also walks into the room. Najma starts explaining how she knew that tanveer was lying. Asad is shocked and asks her to leave right away. Asad apologises to zoya.
So that was the recap for the past 1 and a half chapters. So here goes chapter 10:
Zoya cringed as she watched Mr. Idli ki Kasam slop all over Asad. She turned her head away and covered her face with her palms. Separated two of her fingers slightly, to reveal a little bit of the situation, out of the corner of her eyes, she found Asag glaring at her, she quickly mouthed a sorry' to him, just as she was about to turn away, she gasped, as she realized what that man was gonna do, she quickly rushed in between Asad and Vasudev, forming a barrier between them, she thought to herself, "I am extremely sorry Gay Singham, but no one touches Jahanpanah's six packs apart from me. Wait, did I just say that?!" She mentally slapped herself to whack the very thought out of her mind. She forced a smile onto her face, which probably turned out as a grimace. She asked him in a sugar coated tone, "Umm...woh main...I think I've got the steps, now how about me and my fiancee try the dance?" She emphasized on the word, fiancee', hoping he would understand that Asad was only hers. She side glanced at Asad and for a second, she thought he was actually smirking at her, but she couldn't decide, because he was quick as a mouse to change his expression into a frown. She turned back to look at Vasudev. He looked like a little kid whose candy had just been stolen. He replied grudgingly, "Ok then, let's see if you both are upto any good." Zoya squealed in delight and called out to Najma, "Najma, music on karo, na?" Najma gave a thumbs up to Zoya and reached out to turn on the music player. But before she could do so, Asad snapped at her, "NO!!!" A questioning, Zoya, Najma, Dilshaad and Vasudev fixed their gazes on him. Asad stared at everyone, stupidly. "Mr. Khan?", Zoya asked. Asad stuttered, trying to think of a reasonable excuse, "Umm...woh actually...main-" Dilshaad sighed and said, "Here we go again." Zoya raised an eyebrow at him, while Najma called out to him, "Bhaijaan?" Asad looked up, "Woh main...I don't like dancing.", he bit out. Zoya glared at him and crossed her arms against her chest, she snapped back at him, "And I don't like marrying a nut head!" Asad frowned at her, while Zoya glared holes into him. "Umm...I have a lot of work to do, I gotta go.", he quickly excuses himself and rushed into his bedroom, shutting the door the second both his feet were in the room. Zoya had turned her head to glare at the innocent closed door, of Asad's room. "I'll deal with him.", she muttered to herself.
Dilshaad walked into Asad's room, with Zoya and Najma at her heels. Asad ripped his head away from his laptop and looked at the three ladies glaring at him. "Jee?", he asked politely. Dilshaad cut into the topic, immediately, she said, "Now, can you please name any couple who didn't dance in their own sangeet?" Asad groaned and said, "Ammi, I already told you, I hate dancing. For heav-" Dilshaad cut him off and said, "I'm extremely sorry, but that is not my botheration, so keep your stupid excuses to yourself and get started with your dance practice. "Ammi, please, I will not dance.", Asad said, trying to keep himself in control. "Oh yes, you are!" Asad glared at Zoya, only to earn an even worse fire glare from Zoya. "Don't be such a hippie, Mr. Khan! You might wanna make a fool out of yourself, on your sangeet, but I most certainly don't, do you understand?" Asad glowered at zoya, while Zoya stared back at him, determination illuminating her eyes. "Do you understand, Mr. Khan?", Zoya hissed again. "I will not dance. End of.", Asad repeated. Zoya shrieked at him, exasperatedly, "Allah miyan! What's wrong with you? Are you a cross between a parrot and a human, or something? Why do you have to repeat the same stupid line over and over again?" "And why do you have to bug me over and over again, saying that I should dance?", Asad questioned her. "I will do that, until you agree to dance! "I'm not dancing!", yelled Asad for the umpteenth time. Zoya put up her pouty face again, placing her hands on her hips. Dilshaad smiled and said, "Your sangeet, so you ARE dancing and that's final." Asa opened his mouth to argue, but Dilshaad held her arm up, indicating him to be quiet. She walked out of the room with Najma and Zoya. Before they left, Zoya turned and scowled at him menacingly. She mouthed to him, "This isn't over yet."
"Allah miyan, what's wrong with you?! You can tolerate dancing with Mr. Gay, but not me?! Oh, I get it! You're supposed to be gay, aren't you? Just wait till phuppi and Najma hear.", yelled Zoya all in one breath. She glared at him and started to scream, "PHUP-" Asad had grabbed her by her wrist and covered her mouth with his hand. He hissed into her face, "Are you mad?!" Zoya pushed him away and snapped at him, "Well, if you're gay, I can be as mad as I want! Do you understand?!" Asad glared at her, he asked her, "You want me to dance with you, right?" Zoya nodded her head vigorously. Asad smirked at her. He grabbed her by her waist and pulled her close, "Then, we're gonna do exactly that." Zoya blinked at him, she'd expected another set of excuses from the book of, Mr. Khan's Lamest Excuses for Dummies.' Before she knew it, she felt herself twirling. Asad pushed her against his chest, from the back. He held her hands and adjusted his head into the crook of her neck. He slowly started singing, in his husky voice, "Na hai yeh pana, na khona hi hai. He twirled her again, "Tera Na hona jane, kyun hona hi hai." Zoya stared at him, pleasantly surprised. He smiled back at her and swayed, thrusting Zoya against him, "Tum se hi din hota hai, surmaiye shaam aati." He wrapped an arm around her waist and bent down to pick her up. Zoya felt herself being risen into the air, effortlessly, one of her hands immediately slid behind his neck, while the other one clutched onto his collar. Asad spun around, slowly, he smiled at her and finished, "Tumse hi, tumse hi."
He walked over to the couch and dropped Zoya down, gently. Zoya continued to stare at him, still dazed by his sudden outburst of romance. "Zoya?", Asad called out, bringing Zoya out of her reverie. "Was I dreaming?", asked a bewildered Zoya. Asad smirked at her and knelt down, he replied to her with a hint of smugness, "Why, we can do it all over again." Zoya still hadn't realized that it was actually reality and not a dream. She snapped at him, "Why did you wake me up?! I was having this awesome dream about me and my Prince Charming!" Asad smirked at her and asked, "And who is that Prince Charming?" Zoya retorted at him, "Anyone, but you!" Asad found her reply even more amusing and he asked her with a highly sarcastic tone, "Oh really? Angry, are you?" Zoya glared at him, indicating a yes. Asad smirked at her again, would you care to explain that lovely dream of yours?" "No! Get lost!", Zoya yelled at him, flinging a cushion at him in the process. Asad caught it and threw it back onto the sofa. "Fine. You're not gonna explain, how about I explain, instead?" Zoya stared at him, confused. She opened her mouth to ask him about the same, but Asad beat her to it. He smirked and began, "You were yelling at your Prince Charming' like a banshee, because he wouldn't dance with you. And then he did dance with you and he sang tumse hi' for you, while dancing with you. He finally picked you up and dropped you down on the sofa and when he called out to you, because you were too busy trying believe what had just happened, you snapped at him, saying that you were having an awesome dream about you and your Prince Charming. When I asked you who your Prince Charming was, you again snapped at me and refused to tell me. And that's a little funny, because I was the one who was dancing with you, isn't that right, Ms. Farooqui?" Zoya stared at him, her mouth forming a perfect o'. "That was real?", Zoya asked stupidly. "Yes, it was you dote headed idiot." Zoya glared at him, "Actually, you are not my prince charming, I was hallucinating my other Mr. Khan, in the place of you. So don't get too proud, or anything. You were just a substitute for my real Prince Charming." Asad raised an eyebrow at her and asked, "Your other Mr. Khan?" Zoya nodded her head and grinned like a teener, she squealed and replied, "Of course, my Sallu bab-" "Hold it right there, Ms. Farooqui! You can do all the flirting you want, with any actor, but not in front of me." Zoya sighed and started to sing, "Teri meri, meri teri hate kahaani hai mushkil! Do lafz-" "Can you shut up?!", Asad barked at her. "Yes?", Zoya replied innocently. "If you admire Salman Khan so much, then why don't you get married to him, instead?", Asad asked her angrily. Zoya shrugged her shoulders and replied, "As much as I would love to do so, I can't, because he apparently already has a girlfriend, can you believe that?!" Asad bit back his anger and snapped aat her, "Then, where did Dhoni go?" "How am I supposed to know, Mr. Khan?", Zoya asked him, innocently. Asad rubbed his creased forehead and said, "I meant, you can marry Dhoni, instead, right?" Zoya sighed and replied, "That's even worse, because he's already married, if you didn't know." Before Asad could say anything else, Zoya started to go on a rant about her life, "How come the best guys are never single? I mean, if there is no good guy, on this world who's single, then where are we lovely ladies supposed to go? We end up with dough headed men, like you, for an instance." Asad glared at her, "Oh, so I'm not good enough for you?" "Nope!", came her reply. Asad glowered at her and said, "Fine then, you can continue admiring Salman Khan and Dhoni, why bother about me?" He turned to leave, but he felt a tight grip around his wrist. He turned back around and found Zoya laughing at him. "Someone's jealous!", she quipped. Asad continued glaring at her. Zoya giggled and pinched his cheek, "Haawww, Mr. Khan! You look so cute, when you're jealous!" Asad felt his insides melt, slightly. She just called him cute AND she'd pinched his cheeks. Asaf felt a small smile smile, playing up on his lips, he pulled Zoya against his body and whispered into her ear, huskily,"So, what do you say?" "Sorry!" She laid her head against his chest, while her arms snaked themselves around his neck. Asad responded by wrapping his arms around her waist. He nuzzled his head into the crook of her neck, to which Zoya let out a gentle gasp. He smiled and said, "You're my personal musibat magnet. Anyone who tries to steal my property will be whacked in the face." Zoya smiled, she couldn't have wished for a better husband. The day she says 'Qubool Hai', would be the most beautiful day of her life. Asad pulled away after a while and slowly said her, "I thought, I was the emotionally challenged one, but you seem to be a million tries worse than me. Zoya looked up at him questioningly. Asad smiled and asked, "How hard is it to say three words to your fiancee?" Zoya understood what he was trying to say and gulped. She bit her lip nervously, she stammered, "Woh actually...main..." Asad cocked an eyebrow at her in mock surprise, he smugly replied, "That line is taken." Much to Zoya's relief, Asad's phone happened to ring just that minute. He mentally cursed the caller before he excused himself. Zoya took that as a chance and quickly escaped to her room. Asad muttered to himself, "Stupid ladki." He walked into his own room and looked at the screen, "Ayaan?"

So that was chapter 10! I haven't had a look at the no. of words yet but I can say that it was quite a short update but i did keep up my promise of updating before wednesday. And yes, I found the chapter extremely stupid myself so I've gotta good idea abt the curses u guys r throwing at me right now. And I've got some disappointing news for u guys, my terminal exams r starting on next thursday and they're gonna end only on 21st so u guys pretty much can't expect an update before 24th I guess. I need to update the last chapter of my ss as well and I'm aiming for around 7000 words in that chapter coz its the last one. After that I need to do an epilogue but that'll come only after I update this ff. But the good news is, the holidays come after the exams and I'll be doing nothing much apart from lazing around so u can expect long updates. Plz don't forget to comment! I really LOVE feedback. Hope this chapter was ok! Adios ppl!😊
