Lovely post! Loved the sher at the end 😊
yeah..i thought it was so appropriate for Asya😃 I don't know who wrote it
I think everyone was pretty annoyed with Tanveer today for butting in. The way Asad looked at her when she started giving her views on Asad and Zoe, especially the part when she made the "hamdardi" comment regarding Zoe, I felt he would have strangled her if she wasn't his so called childhood friend 😆
Yeah, hope they all start suspecting that there is something fishy there
Really felt bad for Asad today, he looked so traumatised and then Dilshad repeatedly questioning him was making it all the more difficult for him at a time when Zoe was standing behind. You could see his restlessness and how hard he was trying to suppress his emotions. But Dilshad wasn't at fault either, considering the kind of humiliation she had to go through at the Walima. Also, like you said she knows that until pushed, her son will not verbalise how he feels. Since she has clearly sensed the changed equation between the love birds, she is in a way doing it for them.
Exactly! When Dilshaad believes in something strongly, she goes all out to prove it - remember Rashid case? The Cvs have done a great job with character consistency
Also, I loved both their monologues today. Asad we've seen a few but I wanted to see something from Zoe's end. It was so heartfelt. Asad's monologue reflected how deep-rooted his fears are of turning like his father and the turmoil he is going through about not wanting to let her go yet not wanting her to come closer to him. And Zoe's monologue that reflected she understands him and has an idea about how he feels, "jo sach aapki aankhon mein maine dekha hai vo aapki zubaan pe kyu nahi aata," and she is left wondering about what is stopping him to convey to her how he feels. Thank God! She didn't choose to go by Tanveer's words and acknowledged somewhat how she feels for him.
I think if Asad had not made that misfit comment during the bhaang night, she might have confronted him directly or confessed her feelings to him. That's the sense I got today- it's that misfit comment that makes her hesitate (+ of course her own insecurities) I am glad that they didn't pay any heed to Tanu's words at all
Thanks s120
