Zoya, I wish you were standing infront of Asad where you could read his face. Where you could see his eyes moist, unable to hide his emotions. Were you could see how he kept moving his eyeballs to stop the tears from falling. Where you could see his lips quickevering or rather itching to say 'Yes'!
Where you could see the restlessness on his face.
Wish you had seen the look of horror in his eyes when he heard his so called best friend tell his mother that he did not love you. Wish you saw how badly he wanted to correct her right there and then. Wish you had seen his body stiffen when he realised you were standing right behind him. Wish you had realised the effect you have on him.
Wish you realised that if he didn't say yes, he didn't even say no.
I bet you would never have called him 'Emotionally Challenged' again had you seen all of this!
