Much goes on in the mind of a groom-to-be. Unless you are a guy, its absolutely impossible to know what ticks in those deplorable brains of theirs, what touches their hearts the most...
Us girls are a lot sillier, stupider in love. Of course the old saying goes women have a rapid imagination: it flies from admiration to love, and love to matrimony in less than an instant! We feel from the heart, and only from the heart, and when we realise our happiness is irrevocably bound with another man's, the goofiest smile ever takes over and seldom has a woman ever escaped from confronting her true love...
Men, on the other hand, try to be tougher and smarter and harder to crack! Trying to depict a macho man image is okay till a certain extent, but a lover boy fallen deep and hard in love is a treat to watch as he tries ALL the tricks in the book to wriggle out of such a situation!
He knows he can never let go off her, he knows its painful to see her cry, and he is mightily aware of when his breath catches in his throat as he is left mesmerized by her beauty... Men like Mr Khan spend ages loving a woman before finally admitting it to themselves! The scriptures and the books and logic says these are symptoms of love, but is it really that easy for the masculine heart to accept this passion, accept this urge?
How does he confront himself with these new-bound feelings? What does he tell himself when he realises he's blushing at the thought of her? What excuses does he conjure up, how far will he try to escape before he realises there's no way out!
Mr Khan is as smart (and hot!) as he looks from this distance afar. This is love, and somewhere the logical part of his brain nudges him that this is love, you daft!! Yet how does he say it to his mother? And how does he say it to Zoya?
But above all, how does he say it to himself? :)
