Before i kickstart the post, a special mention to the original tigress of the show Razia for once again proving it that no matter what an evil block she is or what she says on the face , har insaan ki sahee pehchaan aur aukaat samajhti hain ye. Razia does not know Asad or Zoe as people, she has never spent time with them and she has never seen them interact ever before , but standing true to her character , the moment she saw AsYa together , she seethed her teeth at BCA and told her firmly and sharply - " Inki sagaai bhale hi naqlee ho, lekin inki bahot asli hai."
So, boss, jis love story mein villain bhi hero-heroine ko hats-off boltaa hai, samajh jaao ki yahee soulmate waala love hai. When even evil is forced to acknowledge how flawless good really is, its a proof of its flawlessness indeed. Interestingly , the second person to acknowledge AsYa as true lovers is your main antagonist - Razia ( first was Dilshoo). Talk of ironies.
Now, lets discuss the lion club first and then, the despicable Siddiquis ( Can Zoe ever be serious about going and living in this chidhiya-ghar , no matter what a jerk Asad is? *Confused babyface*)
Asad 😆
Asad is a jerk of all days - i agree. He is emotionally damaged too ( i hate the use of emotionally-challenged because its so not true - he has been the most intense in displaying emotions , dude. Dialogue writer needs to replace the oft used abuse ). But in all seasons and winds , Asad is a man of honour - and that is something which never suffered except when he raised his hand on Zoe in a fit of emotionally charged fury and the sight of a dying mother.
Today, he tries to maintain that - in love with Zoe to all the depths and heights but never crossing his line. When he gives Zoe a rose in the most romantic way possible, uttering her name as Zoe and encasing her hands in his , he sees Zoe go from a surprised look to skipping heartbeats. Perfect setting for him to go all awwle-mella-shonaa-baby. But he doesn't. He knows that he has been telling her that they are not engaged for real. So, inspite of having all the feels, he steps back , almost immediately - switching off and asking her with kind sarcasm - ho gayee na aapki bachkaana zid poori? Asad is not ready to give Zoe any 'feels' consciously because he has drawn a line ( no matter how much your fangirling hearts hate that.😆)... Mundaa limit-shimit waala haigaa. 😉
Later , when Zoe goes a 'World War 3' on Asad regarding how emotionally challenged and obtuse he is - how he cannot understand what she is trying to say and what she wants from him, Asad doesn't blow off like a fused bulb. He maintains the border of honour or Tehzeeb as he will call it. He is emotionally wrought when Zoe does all that emotional attyaachaar on him but he keeps his calm. He simply asks her - Fine! You tell me what you want from me. You want this engagement to turn real? Answer me.
The cat family is not just about aggression and combative attitude. Besides , being predators , these animals are associated with pride, honour and power. Today Asad's day was that of honour and maintaining the line between him and Zoe. For a change, he was not about aggression today. Yes, if he would have witnessed his darling Ammie being pounced upon by the Siddiquis , the whole family would have regretted taking birth on this earth. But call it their good luck, Asad was not on the battle field - the original lioness was and how.
Zoe 😕
Zoe! WOW! Samajh nahiin aata ki kya karoon, exactly🤔. Asad ko apnee ungli pe disco-dandiya karwaane aur use apna stalker banaane se lekar usspar emotional attyaachaar karne ke liye , tumhe cheescake khilaaoon? Or else when Asad asked you in a clear cut manner and with aggressive confidence that do you want to marry him indeed and whether you want this sagaai to be real - you developing cold feet and saying 'am I mad' sunkar tumhe hi oven mein daal doon? 😕
Zoe was the most bipolar cat today! She is glowing like a tube light with Asad taking her name -Zoya, she is holding that rose with her as though ye duniyaa ka aakhri phool haigaa, she is showing off her engagement ring to the world much to Asad's discomfiture , she screams her lungs out at Asad with tears in her eyes with a 2.5 page ka dialogue copy , unleashing her emotions that why can't Asad understand what she wants and how she feels and why he keeps calling this sagaai fake!... and then! When Asad leaves her jaw falling to the floor with a shocking direct retort - Aap chaahti hain ki ye sagaai asli ho jaaye? - KABOOMMM!... Zoe's head gets hit with an asteroid - Hainnn? Am I mad? Main aisa kyun chaahoongi? Main toh bas confirm kar rahi thi ki kahiin aapke dimaag mein toh aise ideas nahiin aa rahe?"😆
* BADAA WAALA FACE PALM ON MY STUNNING FACE*... I henceforth, forbid every reader of mine from ever asking me who is more bipolar - Zoe? Asad?
Mera Arnav aaj yahaan hotaa toh total 'What the What the What the' reaction detaa. Zoeyyy! Jis question ka wait kitaa, jab Asad ne poochha, toh ye kee kar dittaa?
Zoe's journey from a lioness to a rabbit in today's episode. *Facepalm again!*
Dilshaad👏
Ladies and gentlemen , make way for the queen 'coz when she comes even the princesses sit in audience. Dilshaad - the warm, honourable , graceful, dignified mother today showed the kind of claws that would force even someone like Razia to check hers.
Every human-being has a breaking point. You keep pushing and shoving someone - but not everyone falls off the edge. Some of them strike back with such a punch that they break you right down to your soul. That is what Dilshaad did today. She was accused, abused, cornered , humiliated and her babies were cursed upon. And out came the lioness from the depths of a lamb. This was about her kids and no Shireen and Co gets away with cursing her kids , especially Asad to a lifetime of misery. All the injury, trauma, bleeding of her past combined with her fierce love for Asad and Tamaatar came as whiplash to the Siddiquis. I don't care who is making you think ill of me. I don't care what you think of me or how much you hate me. What i care about is my kids and no troll gets away with wishing my baby Asad to a lifetime of misery and loveless life. My son will marry and he will marry within 10 days - and no, nobody is going to stop it. Not even Asad.
Was her fury wise and sane? No.But it was natural, angst-ridden and rose from her fierce love for Asad. Someone was cursing Asad to a lifetime of bitter sadness and Dilshad brought the Nikaah cover as her blanket for him. Dilshad was only a fierce mother today- not wise, not objective , not sensible - but a mother who was pushed into a corner and she actually imagined the claws of the world ripping off Asad's flesh.
Lesson learnt : Never try pushing people off the edge just because they appear fragile.People can shock you with the kind of strength and aggression you have only heard in stories.
The Siddiquis. 😳
I don't have to delve into Razia's villainy because she is what she is - an intense antagonist. But yes, something needs to be said about Rashid and Shireen. Rashid seriously does not deserve to be even in the same room where the Lion Club stands- like Dilshie said - spineless. silent and perhaps worthy of hatred of Asad in a limited edition covering. Your ex-wife was humiliated, your kids were cursed to eternal misery and all that you could manage was a 'Haseena Bi?'
Shireen, its the basic law of the universe. Whatever you give to the world, the universe ensures that it comes back to you with double the mass and triple the velocity. And the physics of universe is FLAWLESS. What you have wished to Asad and his loved ones - well, Asad ka jo hogaa so hogaa, but you have three kids too. Who knows - you may not be able to even see what Ayaan, Nikhat and Nuzhat suffer.
Karma knows who you are , where you live ,what is your address and exactly what to do with you. And trust me, the timing of Karma is the biggest black comedy of the Milky Way.
P.S- Don't worry about who Dilshie will choose or what Asad will say. Tanveer or no Tanveer at all, agar Asad aur Zoe ka raasta ek doosre ki taraf jaata hogaa toh , like Razia said. un donno ko alag karna Tanveer ke bas ki bhi baat nahiin. Relax.
P.P.S- Just realized that Asad and Zoe are the most hated people in this story. Everyone is busy in either making death plans for Zoe or cursing Asad to a lifetime of misery.
