Completely second ur mom's views regarding Zoya.. Infact regarding QH!
Hard to even imagine QH without Zoya/Surbhi.. And i dont really believe that Asad's character is the only reason that we mostly find him bland to watch.. As i dont really think that KSG does full justice to the role.. Off late he looks dis-interested to me!
While Surbhi can fill for any of her co-stars shortcomings including KSG (she can make Tanu bearable ffs) .. Am yet to see that with KSG!

Agree with you even I was not planning to watch QH I started watching on my mom's recommendation she kept talking about that hilarious girl ,so I thought I will give it a try and was hooked to QH .Though I absolutely adore AsYa's chemistry and characterization of asad and zoya I am a little more biased towards zoya :-) And my mom and grandma also watch it cause of zoya they do get annoyed at asad from time to time cause of his behavior but they like him at the end of the day!

Lol, my mom's the total opposite. She doesn't like Zoya. Anything Zoya does annoys her to the core. But she stills watches it. And I just don't understand why . -,-

Regarding chemistry, there are always who don't agree. My sister used to say armaan-ridhima (kash) did not have chemistry 😲 😲

Although I don't agree with a lot of her views (I think Zoya and Asad have amazing chemistry!) I completely agree with all her points on Zoya

She's modern yet not to the point where she appears snobbish or OTT, she dresses normally, is down to earth yet crazy in her own way and yes, is independent but when vulnerable she accepts she needs others support.

Yeah I don't agree with her about Asad and Zoya awesome chemistry either haha, but each to his own I guess! It's my mom's opinion, so yeah. I love Asad and Zoya together, they're so so so hot gosh <3

Agree with this also.. this is very true about QH.. . story focuses on each character equally well so that unless you follow it very closely you miss each person's growth in character as well as what is happening to them..😃

Actually it's one of the main reasons I watch QH too! Because it isn't boring, they get on with life pretty quick haha so I don't lose interest. I think KSG is an awesome actor too, I don't know why my mom doesn't agree haha.

They find her a very normal girl similar to their daughters, who is modern yet simple, independent but yet dependent at times, strong but emotional at time, I guess most of us present day girls of middle class family are like this. We are strong and independent but not to the extreme, we do get hurt by others rude behavior towards us but we come out of it very quickly and ignore it!
By the way both of my aunts find KSG very handsome though they have problem with Asad's behavior at times😊

But the older generation doesn't know him, they watch any show randomly and if they like the story they get stuck to it. It's normal for any woman to like a female character which they can connect with and Zoya is a very normal girl who is similar to a lot of young girls of today.

Hey Kriti, like Bhavna said, it may be true for the youth, but my mom certainly doesn't fit in that category haha and she was merely stating her opinion!

Oh, I don't totally agree with your opinion about KSG then. I think he's doing a pretty decent job, I find his role very convincing and intriguing. But everyone has their own opinions I guess (:

Haha I really do believe my mom secretly likes Asad too, just like your mom and grandma (so cute btw!!), but she's emotionally challenged so she's having a hard time admitting it to herself :p

Can't really comment on Armaan-Riddhima's chemistry sorry!! I don't live in India, so we didn't have Star One showing here. I've only watched a few clips of them on youtube randomly, but I don't think it's enough to form an opinion. Yeah, but each to his own I guess! My mom doesn't like Asad-Zoya and your sister didn't like Armaan-Riddhima... life is sad haha.
