Yeah I noticed that too... He even hinted at Zoya when he was talking about fixing wrong decisions no matter how much you love them... That was probably the only part of he episode that was sort of decent

When He was saying that Line..for 1 sec he Looked at Zoya and turned...That line was for His feelings..his Love for Zoya which he wants to control
