I completely agree with you. I too have nothing against comedy but it should be at the right time when the situation demands it, and honestly comedy all the time becomesmonotonousand doesn't leave a sense of enjoyment but annoyance. Especially, when the situation at hand should be serious throwing comedy in there is tasteless and takes away theessenceof the situation, like today in the hallway she seemed so choked up, she seemed sick of Asad and his Emotionally challenged self and it really made an impact but then the next second the whole scene is ruined because of the comedy element added to it. I honestly would have thought that the PH team would have learnt that comedy is all good and glory but not all the time, especially not when the scene should be serious and emotional.

WORD!

To everything you said! I agree with it all! 👏

I agree with tthe TM. They ruined the seriouness of the scene by making it light and comical. It could havr been an impactful and intense scene but they made Zoya turn it into something funny.
I mean wouldn't it be better to havr Najma come in suddenly and both of them suddenly pull away?
Was there a need to make it comical?

I think the PH think that the comedy element is what draws the audience in, I don't think they realise that yes we do like comedy but not unnecessary comedy. They throw comedy in when it isn't needed and sometimes in the most sensitive situations where humour is just cringey.

I agree. i didnt like zoya changing the topic and becoming comical.. but then i thought about it.. and i think she is still in denial of her own feelings as well.. she craves for asad to confess first.. so she changed topic when he questioned her in return.. i think its an ego thing.. and frankly i dont mind it anymore now that i think about it.

Same here.. It would've been nice to see more but then that would mean a confession, which we know neither is ready for...

They are really making use of the comedy element too much. Its great and I love Zoya's comedy scenes but like you said, unnecessary comedy ruins the scene. Why cant they just let it end at a serious note? They usually cut off all romanctic scenes and quickly switch to other scenes. They could have Najma come inbetween and end the scene there rather tthan have Zoya make it comical.
