Asad looked at Zoya's petite little frame lying lifelessly with numerous wires attached to her, through the glass. He blinked his red swollen eyes and sighed painfully. Only he knew through what he goes, what a painful death he dies every time he saw her in this state. He felt hot tears pour down his cheeks, seeing her flinch in pain.

Allah! Please let nothing happen to her, if anything happens to her, I won't be able to live.

He felt a hand on his shoulder and turned to see Dilshad standing tears in her eyes as well.How much he wanted to hug his mother and cry on her shoulder, but he resisted.

"Allah pe bharosa rakho beta, Zoya ko kuch nahi hoga" These warm and soothing words of his mother let all his emotions loose. He was surprised how well his mother understood him and his feelings. Throwing his arms around her he sobbed hard on her shoulder.

Dilshad felt her shoulder getting wet due to her son's tears. She carressed his hair in order to calm him down. She knew how he must be feeling, of course, she would. She is his mother after all, she knew everything. She knew how much he loved Zoya but couldn't just express it.

She heard his sobs getting louder, "Sshh...Asad beta, sambhalo apne aap ko...usse kuch nahi hoga..." She tried to console him but all in vain.

Najma cried seeing her brother in this state, she felt utterly helpless. Nikhat was by her side in an instant. She consoled her and wiped her tears, trying to control her own as both the sisters shared a hug.


After a while, the doctor came out. Asad looked up and rushed to him, followed by the three women, "Doctor? How is Zoya? Is she fine?" Asad asked desperately.

"Yes Mr. Khan, she is perfectly fine" The doctor smiled at him. Relief washed through him, he closed his eyes thanking the Almighty for returning his life back, he just couldn't express how relieved he was knowing that Zoya...his Zoya was fine.

"Can we meet her?" Asked Dilshad, who was dying to see her daughter.

"Yeah sure...but please make sure she doesn't get disturbed" Said the doctor while the ladies smiled thankfully at him and proceeded towards Zoya's room.

As Asad started to go, the doctor stopped him, "Mr. Khan, please wait...I want to talk to you"

Dilshad, Najma and Nikhat entered Zoya's room. There she was...lying lifeless, as pale as sheet. The sight was so painful that Dilshad's heart went out to her. Blinking the tears which formed in her eyes she went and sat beside her.

She couldn't believe it; the girl who came in their house for the first time and the girl who was lying before her, yes she was the same...yet not. She carressed her forhead lovingly.

Responding to the familiar motherly touch, Zoya stirred her eyes open, blinking thrice to adjust her view. She looked around and saw Nikhat and Najma standing there with teary smiles, as she looked beside her, she saw her phupi standing looking at her eyes full of love and concern. Her heart broke seeing so much love and concern in those warm eyes.

Yippeee!!!im the first to comment.first of all kahan gayab ho gayi?im missing ur nautanki.coming to the update,u started this ff in the 17th century and now its 19th century.its been ages u updated.fir bhi loved the update.poor zoya is suffering so much.i really hope she doesn't go back to siddiqui's house after she recovers coz asad's family is her family.update the next part soon wo bhi long wala..love u loads 🤗
