I so much agree with your post...It really hit me hard too! I don't think Zoya was as hurt with the slap (emotionally) as she was by this episode. I think Asad even realized without Zoya explaining herself to him. He simply needs to do something great to erase the moment from our minds, like they showed with the Valentines dance.

i think its already been cleared that Zoya wasn't in Asad's vision. He didn't purposely walk past an injured Zoya, he didn't even know she was there. So I'm not really mad at Asad bc you cant really blame him for not seeing her. So Asad didnt DO anything to her.

I felt really bad for Zoya too...but to be fair to Asad...it could happen. I mean 1) he didn't know Zoya was on the bus...and 2) his sole concern was to find his childhood friend.

Asad doesn't love Zoya, he is only attracted to her and he feels responsible for her, becoz she is his ammi's guest, he said it so many times before if something happens to Zoya, what will they tell her Jiju
And becoz if this fact, I think Tanveer will make her place to his heart, until he gets duped by her ( if the Zee syp turns true )
And if he goes after Zoya after being cheated by Tanveer, I want Zoya to just refuse Asad...

I think he has fallen in love with her...maybe not fully and irrevocably but he is well on his way there.

Remember that his true words to her under intoxication were not just about attraction- yes he said that her thoughts invade his dreams and loneliness and that he is attracted to her but he also says that she brings light into his dark life-in other words she makes him happy. The last part is something that a protagonist who is only attracted to a female would not really say. She affects him on an emotional level too and that makes me think it is more than physical attraction and liking. Most importantly this is an Indian show and love at first sight is an Indian show kinda thing. 😆 Months or years from now we will get a dialogue from AAK that 'sach to yeh hai ki mujhe aapse pehli nazar mein hi us dargah mein mohabbat ho gayi thi' !!

I had the same EXACT feeling. It hurt us so much to see Zoya like that. Kudos to Surbhi for her acting, she was brillant. Period. In the whole sequence. That is the reason the forum was all chaos that day with people cursing asad though its not his fault.
