Why exactly are we questioning Asad? :S

i agree with you. tanveer is asads childhood friend, maybe someone with whom he can let his guard down and hence he has confided in her.and asad and zoya share...what kind of relationship that he cannot hug another girl or hold her hand? everybody is behaving as if asad is married to zoya and is cheating on her.

Agree and he does not know what is going on in Zoyas head❤️.

umm..i don't understand what's Asad's "character's" fault in all of this? He met a long lost friend, where just before meeting her after all these years, he found out that she's been a part of an accident..so he hugged her..and that is a VERY natural thing to do..when you think youre about to lose someone, and you don't! ..and this is whether you're medieval or not.

Them holding hands was not flirting! ..or any kind of line-maroing or romance! They were talking about an extremely sensitive issue - Asad's own dad's arrest. The sensitivity allowed them to hold hands! It wasn't a sign of romance..it was a sign of compassion and support, which any good friend would show.

Tanveer might turn out to be negative, but right now she isn't, and Asad just knows her as her childhood friend, so why are people questioning his character?

Totally agree with you...it was so normal and friendly and compassionate...no underlying tension of romance and love!

i guess by most people's definition I am constantly having affair with my friends. There was nothing wrong with Asad's behaviour today. The entire Tanveer-Asad storyline is being shown from Zoya's angle because they want us, the audience, to see how she has misunderstood the situation,

As for the precap, i can't believe nobody noticed Asad staring at Zoya when she turns away from them all and he's hugging his sister and mother.

However, from Asad's point of view, I do agree. He has known her for forever, and I feel that to him, she's a girl he can bare himself to, without the risk of getting carried away- like he may with Zoya.

Agree. I was hyper when I read WU but after seeing the episode I find him doing nothing wrong.

The problem I have is not with Asad's behavior. My problem is with his behavior in light of the statements he has made- jeans bad, shayari bad, being bubbly bad, going out past 7 bad, standing on the bed bad, larko ke moo lagna in order to save Najma bad, cricket (freaking its only a match) dekhne jana bad, entering without knocking bad, and the sharm aurat ka gehna hai lecture is reserved for Zoya only. If she is being accused of exhibiting herself (on the day she ran away) which invited unwanted glances from men, then why doesn't he see as much fault in himself hugging a woman he isn't married to- if indeed that is his level of conservative thinking? His behavior doesn't add up to me. I used to watch PV and Arjun hugging or pacifying Ovi when he was in a relationship with Purvi did not bother me- a little but almost insignificant compared to Asad's case. so, the bottom line is it is not about a single man hugging his friend, the issue is about a houlier than thou guy bending the rules for himself, the the double standards he is exhibiting. Do you guys remember he told Zoya she could not meet 'mahinder' alone?? Furthermore, he turns a half blind eye to Ayaans flirtation too. Hypocrisy.
