Hats off to KSG and Surbhi - P3 update

I am sure some of you here might have had one too many or been high but if you have not, then I must say that Surbhi and KSG, were incredible in today's episode. Their performance as Asad and Zoya lit the screen on fire; the writers did an amazing job writing such wit and humor for these two lovable characters and these two actors delivered these lines with such humor, spontaneity and wit. Their comic timing, facial expressions and smiles were prefect and spot on. They two were so natural, you can believe they were high on something.

Both KSG and Surbhi share great professional onscreen chemistry which makes watching Asad and Zoya so enjoyable to watch. Having studied acting for several years, if you get along well with the actor with whom you are working, it makes acting incredibly fun and allows the actors to deliver natural performances. It is vital especially when you have to do romantic scenes as even just delivering lines can be awkward if the other person is unprofessional.

Today's episode reminded me of an incident in acting class 10 years ago when I had to perform a somewhat similar type of scene. The scene was from "When Harry Met Sally," and the acting teacher decided that my partner that day in class (Steven, a pretty good actor and married) to perform the scene drunk. I cannot tell you how tough that was, but it rendered sooo many laughs in class and took so much energy out of me. Thinking of that time really makes me appreciate these actors for what they did in this episode - especially KSG who really shone...he is an amazing actor. For a beginner on Zeetv, Surbhi is incredibly talented. In fact, I was so impressed with her today, that her smile reminded me of Madhuri Dixit's - yes - she has that on screen charisma I have not seen in any actress until today. She is very talented as Zoya and her comic timing is amazing.

I can see KSG and Subhi doing well on this show and a huge demand for them to reprise either these roles in a sequel or work again together. Along with 4Lions talented writers, these two actors breath life into the words on paper.

Nice post.. Karan and Surbhi are definitely too good. I have never seen KSG on screen before but have heard about his acting and good looks...so i expected something from him.. But Surbhi being a newcomer, i did not expect much from her but she is a package full of surprise.. she is now like a wonderful present rapped in many layers which we would unwrap eagerly to see whats hidden beneath all the layers.

Yesterday's episode and how they portrayed what was required needs to be praised and appreciated.. The cute and sweet dance was also good but to me it was overshadowed by the scene in which they expressed their feelings about each other.. the almost drunk state, their laughter at each other and at themselves and the way they bared their innermost feelings , all were portrayed really well. that scene keeps on flashing in front of my mind while i hardly remember the dance.
And appreciate 4 lions also.. hope they continue to deliver this story with sensitivity and by depicting scenes which portray feelings and emotions in a way we can relate and without going into the usual gimmicks.😃

Surbhi, especiallly so seeing how she is just a newbie but still she has managed to get equal footing with KSG in her every first show!

They are two mind blowing actors. If KSG can kill with his piercing and intense looks, surbhi really can kill with her smile. Her smiles/laughs were intoxicating.

Yes, they were just so beautiful in yesterday's episode, and everything seemed SO natural, which is a huge achievement because most of the time, the drunk scenes in TV shows are extremely unbelievable, with OTT acting and crazy dialogues, but yesterday's episode was very real.
