Forget Uhsud finding Zoya 'unfit' to be a wife and DIL...
(we have all seen how he is completely wrong)

I am more interested in knowing:

How is Uhsud fit to be her husband and SIL to her family (and relatives)?

- truly understanding?
- non-judgmental?
- easy-going?
- soft-spoken?
- good-natured?
- broad-minded?
- progressive thinker?
- supportive?
- truly respectful?

Just being easy on the eyes doesn't cut mustard here.

After what he has said, if this weren't fiction, I'd have helped Zoya beat the dust of him off her shoes and it'd have been, "Sayonara, bud!"

No second chances. No siree! Not here! Nuh-Uh!

Self-respect is one of the most precious things in life. Yes, much of the time more so than love.

The dude's gonna get a very bitter and sour taste of his medicine soon enough(hopefully sooner than later)

When his OWN brother finds Zoya perfect just the way she is and thinks she ideal enough to be his wife and family's bahu.

I gotta hand it to Gul, Your an amazing manipulator of audience thoughts and emotions!
With those dialouges of Asad yesterday and Tanveer track next, She just made it VERY VERY Easy for Ayaan to come into this triangle without getting a lot of hate.

Ah, that question again, and my stock reply:

Cuz translation from another language to English does not mean transliteration where the general laws of English language pronunciation and grammar are massacred...so Asad would be generally pronounced, 'A Sad', and Ayaan, 'I Aahn'...like that.

P.S. Also cuz my OCD on this flares up now and then!😉

Asad crossed all limits of decency today and nothing and I mean nothing excuses this kind of vile behaviour in my opinion...shame on you Asad.

Take this from a Salwaar Kameez Wali ( I only wear Salwaar Kameez ).

Sorry for the rant.

My only reservation about this track is how long is this Tunveer gal gonna stick around?

In the PH's previous show, IPK, the other girl, Laavunya, stuck around for about 6 months.

Yikes!
Goodbye higher TRPs!

No offense, but seriously the English language does not work that way.

None taken... as a linguist I am more than aware of all the 'rules' of grammar of different languages and how they are not set in stone.

Do note that English, as a language, has certain rules that are considered rule-of-thumb...meaning they will be first applied unless otherwise noted.

So the rule-of-thumb pronunciation of 'U' is more similar to the 'A' pronunciation of Hindi.
For example:
Unintentional
Unstable
Uncle
But
Butter
Cutter, etc.

Then you have the exceptions:
Put
Cute
Union, etc.

But take any correctly-educated native English speaker (and yes, English is considered native to India, too!), and they will err on the side of the rule-of-thumb unless so informed.

Which is why Westerners and others have a hard time pronouncing Hindi words when they are trans-literated to English.
My biggest gripe ,the letter 'W'!
But that is a lesson for another day!

My question too. I first thought that it is a new entry but after reading the paragraph I realized that it was Asad. Please do not mislead readers with wrong spelling names. How would you feel if somebody misspelt your name? 😡

Well said Jayne..
I was taken aback and felt rude of him saying this to Zoya..that proves how shallow he is too..to not listen his heart but to see how FIT she is in society😕
