That is my point exactly.
Apart from his scenes with Karan, he is next to useless.
I actually burst out laughing when he tried to do an emotional scene.. You know, 'rona-dhona' et all?

That said, well, to each his/her own.
I'm not here to change anybody's opinion. I just wanted to see whether anyone else thinks that this chap's a horrible horrible non-actor.

Maybe...but I think that's only is his character...so he passed and did what gul told...see the press conference video she described his character and he does that

I don't really mind Ayan! But he is a new actor I understand, so not very experienced I guess! I think he has actually improved over the past few months! His character is quite quirky! :)

He is handsome but agree on the hair part. Me thinks he will look handsome if his hair is madeover.
He is not a good actor but neither so bad that acting lessons do not help! I find him good in comic/light hearted scenes and i love scenes between him and AAK. He has good comic timing.
Emotional scenes, he needs to improve which he will eventually. This is his first acting stint apparently.

Its true that he does not do anything but spend his father's money and add bhai jaan's money as well 🤣

I like his character. I like his scenes with Asad. He and zoya will also hit it off ( as co- conspirators not a couple)

That said, he is an inexperienced actor and that shows through. Also his hair looks seriously ugly... makes him look like a homeless man..

Don't mean to offend anyone.. Just my 2 cents worth..

LOL... He can *sometimes* be a comic relief.. Amazing actually make him wear a saree and a wig and we have someone to laugh at... Otherwise he doesnt really matter.
This post gives me even more shudders when I think about the prospect of Ayaan&Zoya...!

I think his comedic timing is quite good, but he definitely needs to improve in emotional/dramatic scenes- the forceful way in which he delivers those lines doesn't always cut it for me.
