The Vanishing Hitchhiker

Yesterday I spoke to you about Islamic Mythology.

Today I shall focus on modern mythology also called Urban Legends.

Urban legends are stories told by people that someone they know, that knows someone they know, that knows someone they know to whom it happened. These stories are usually bizarre, precautionary and they may change from culture to culture but the essence of it will remain the same.

One of the most popular of these is the story of the vanishing hitch hiker. The story goes that one or two or ...people who were travelling in a car or bus or ... pick up a person from the side of the road and take them to their abode. Only to find out later that the person who they gave a lift to is actually dead.

Now this urban legend (actually it IS true - it happened to my friend's friend) - is used with great cinematic finesse in today's episode. I am however very pleasantly surprised to find that although Zoya is from New York - she has taken the time to read the internet and make sure that the hitchhiker story applies to India as well. Only this is a revengeful ghost.

While most legends claim that ghost can be overpowered by holy water, Asad showed his true colors. His holiness is from within. Therefore he did not need the feel to be scared of a ghost. he knew a good slap would fix the ghost. But why did he blow out the candle? becaues he didn't want that person to be burnt should the candle fall on them. He already knew this was a fake. See how pure he is? But then Zoya has already called him a tiger. Although Asad does mean Lion. And Zoya has her metaphors mixed because of the smell of the bhang pakoras.

Of course, he must have seen the pants peeping out from the bottom of the sari or the beard and mustache that was visible on Ayaan's face in the candlelight that Ayaan kept carefully right beneath his face to illuminate it.

What I am also in awe of is the number of twists that Ayaan went through before he fell down. Where does Asad's supernatural strength and belief come from. His heart. He is pure of heart and therefore will be able to vanquish anything in his way.

Dear Tantle...what can I say, but am in awe of you knowledge...!!!

Talking of Urban Legends reminds me of one too...let me tell you of that...

It is said that a tiger was once brutally tortured in his own abode by some vicious minded people...!! They left a bleeding maimed tiger for the dead...!!!

A passing sage, proficient in the dark arts, tried to help the tiger in an easy passage from itz painful life...The tiger passed away but the dark magic residue stayed with it's spirit...!!!

From then onwards, from time immemorial, a tiger with stripes roams this earth, who on a no moon night, carefully selects its victims...to pay for the atrocities committed to him, by the humankind...!!! Needless to say, his first victims were the very ones, who forced this curse on him...!!!!

Now this tiger can take any human form...so beware unaware travelers of the night...!!!

Now if we relate this to QH...Asad as we very well know, is called a tiger by his dear heart Zoya...!!!! Atrocities are being committed on his dear ones by Razia...of whom, he is as yet unaware...!!!

Zoya tried to bring the truth to Asad by signalling the 'laal rumaal'...red...the color of blood...the misdeeds...to Ayaan...the bearer of truth (he is aware of Raziaz part in it, partially...)

Ayaan...the lady with the candle on such a dark night...tried to show him the light, the truth behind Razia...but as yet, Asad is not ready to listen...hence he blows the candle off & slaps Ayaan away...unaware in his ignorant bliss...!!!

M waiting to see the tiger strike down the evil...a hurt tiger is faaar dangerous than a normal one...lethally so...!!!

To answer to your question Asad's was not seeing the pic... If you see carefully he was making plans of bringing the past to light. That was his mission. Now the characters in past are of no concern to him. And to predict... now wait and see.. That Bhang Pakora will open his brain cells and will show him the future bright and clear.

Now just wait and watch the strings on zoya blouse to hold her assets are going to be 5 same as the number of spider web strings.. (1661 = 14= 5)...That was my prediction for the day... Thank you again...

Thank you, thank you Doodhyaji for elucidating the puzzle of Asad's uncharacteristic opacity with the pic. As of now am investing a lot of expectations in the bhaang pakoras. Fingers crossed that they do not disappoint. I confess I was blindsided by BR's eccentric visual preferences, which your keen insight has spotlighted.
And I simply must appreciate the power of your crystal ball that has zinged up such promising predictions. I am already holding my breath until all 5 of Zoya's strings are strummed and accounted for.

Bugz

I would like to add on that note. According to the precap - the owners of the mansion have been so considerate as to keep even a saree ready for Ms. Zoya - and a tailor made blouse too, with full sleeves, seeing how she has to cover those burn marks.

This consideration has led me to believe that they must, must, must be truly the most gracious people that have graced a bungalow/mansion beside a highway.

However, one must wonder as Ayaan's disappearance. Is he still wandering in the dark? After all, Asad had blown his candle out and then it had started raining. These circumstances would make it difficult for him to light a fire to warm himself. I do hope he does not catch a cold!!

Girloffire, what awesome prescience!! You worried about Ayaan's wet and wild condition, and lo the CVs showed him to us wet and cold and bruised but still with the fire in his belly to succeed. I speak metaphorically, of course. I fear he may well catch a cold from his nocturnal activities. certainly, he will think twice next time before playing woh kaun thi? in the middle of a busy road, but I hope he will be rewarded for his perseverence with some TLC from the beauteous Humaira.
As for the gracious people of the graceful mansion, they will forever have the gratitude of the multitudes of Asya fans everywhere. I mean, wherefore sizzle, scorch, sear without sultry stage or scalding saree?
Of burn marks on Zoya's arm, there was no trace. Of burn marks on audience's brain...well your guess is as good as mine.😊
