I am very liberal... I have been born and brought up in Canada and lived here my entire life... I also wear jeans and t-shirt ... But a Quran Khawani requires more than just a pure heart... A clean and pure heart is definitely important but one should keep the rules of Quran in mind itself... And if Zoya is showing so much respect to the Quran, why not do it the way it is actually written in the Quran... One's libas(attire) doesn't determine their pure heart but it definitely shows respect to the Quran which has a whole Surah(chapter) related to libas(attire) of women,. I'm not saying that she should stop wearing what she does..NO.. One should wear what they are comfortable in but their is a manner for everything... The attire is part of showing respect to the Quran and Allah Taa'alla ... One really has to understand Islam to actually understand what we mean... There is more to it... It's kinda hard to explain but I would never wear that at any place of worship... It's like wearing a bikini at a business meeting... Its not appropriate... Qubool Hai is a beautiful serial but so far, it has done a very poor job in portraying Islam because that is not how it works... We join our hands together to make duaa(prayers) and we wear loose full length clothes and position ourselves in a slant with our knees... If you notice Zoya, she didn't even position herself right..not even her hands... The hands should be together ... Also she referred to Allah Taa'alla as Allah Miya during prayers... It's okay when she says it casually everyday but during prayers, we refer to Allah as 'Hei Allah Taa'alla ', or '' Ya Allah' or " Ya Khuda" or " Ya Rasul" ... Etc... On those lines.l.l we don't refer to Allah as 'Miyan' during prayers... It's not respectful at all...

I have nothing against people wearing jeans but I personally prefer to wear that goes well with the occasion. Like I wear salwar to temple, Saree/salwar for weddings etc. May be I am an attention-phobic so do not want to attract any unwanted attention by wearing different.

Hey ...
Sometimes we have to dress up according to the situation and keeping that in mind she shouldn't have worn jeans in the first place ... There's nothing wrong if she's wearing jeans normally ... But that wasn't the right occasion to wear jeans ...
