#2
"Remind me why you are driving me, an already licensed driver, to my own school?," Asad groaned lightly, as he sat grumpily in the passenger seat of his beloved Mustang.
Razin looked over and back at the road, with a chuckle rumbling from his chest. A smug look crossed his features, and he said, "'Cause I need to get back home, baby bro!"
"Just stop calling me that, Rais! Or you'll know what'll happen next!," Asad rolled his eyes, while closing his eyes in exasperation. "And do come up with a better explanation than that! I know that you don't "need" it!," doing air quotes with his fingers.
"Why, of course, I need it, Ass!," Razin exclaimed loudly, glancing at Asad with wide eyes and then back.
"Really?," he chided, turning to face Razin, with an interested expression. "And who might that be?"
"W-What?," Razin glanced at Asad, in confusion. "What do you mean 'who'?"
"Oh cut that crap, Rais!," Asad nodded smugly, with narrowed eyes. "Who is it for?"
Razin hit the brakes harder than usual, making Asad hit the dashboard and bounce back to his seat.
"Dude! What the hell!!," Asad exclaimed horrified at his baby being damaged. "That's my baby that you're driving, you Ass!"
"Correction! I'm Rais. You're Ass!," Razin chuckled. "School's here, bro!"
"Just shut up, Raisin! If anything happened to my baby, you're so not going to be alive to even look at her the next time!," Asad shot out of his seat and stopped himself from shutting the door of his own Mustang with bang. Closing his eyes, he exhaled deeply, while feeling and even hearing a smirk on Razin's face.
Razin could see Asad all riled up and it was so much fun to see his brother all fuming with steam practically coming out of his ears. Chuckling at his thoughts, he turned to Asad still holding the door open, waiting for him to finish his thought process.
"Done are you?," Asad said, as he shifted his weight from one leg to the other. "You know that I can hear it all!" he continued smugly.
Razin masked his slow panic to a smirk, "Yeah so? I would rather be honest with you through it than go around speaking shit!," shrugging his shoulders.
"Well, look who's taking about honesty!," Asad raised his eyebrows in amusement. "Then why aren't you being honest when am asking you for whom are you borrowing my baby for?"
Huffing at his genius brother, Razin grabbed the steering wheel tighter, before loosening his hold over it, and mumbled, "Laura."
Asad raised an eyebrow, as the name got registered in his mind. He chuckled at his brother's futile attempt of mumbling. He saw Razin turn to face him with suspicion. Understanding why he was looking at him, he raised his hands up in surrender, taking a step back.
"You do know that mumbling won't reduce what we have!," Asad nodded with a grin, as he reached for his bag, and swung it over his shoulder.
While Razin just spared a glance at him.
"And you're seriously dating that.. that Laura chick?," he asked amused.
Razin looked quite offended. "Why? Why shouldn't I? I mean she's hot and damn she's good in--"
Asad twitched his lips and rolled his eyes, to make his brother stop himself from spilling the unnecessary private details.
Razin raised his hands in surrender and instantly stopped talking, a grin spreading on his face. "Sorry! You know what, baby bro? Only because you don't listen to these things, they won't disappear or wipe out the fact that women are sexy and the bombs!," he said winking at his brother's bored expression.
"Yes and I am the unhappiest man who doesn't think so!," said Asad before turning on his heels towards to the school building.
"See? You admit it and I am happy, because acceptance is the key!," Razin said loudly, while coming out the car and following Asad.
"Acceptance is what?," shouted Asad, bewildered a bit at the sudden inclusion of such a statement. A few giggles, made him realise that he was loud enough. Way too loud, I guess. Clearing his throat, he willed Razin, who was busy winking at the girls of the school, to face him.
"Look Rais, if you get even a scratch on my baby," Asad glared long and hard at Razin, and continued, "I'll kill you with my own bare hands!"
Razin looked at his baby brother with a hurt expression, "Sweet Lord! How can you even think of killing your own brother for a piece of metal? This metal?"
"That piece of metal as you quote is my--"
Razin cut in, "Is your baby, I know, Ass! And do have some faith on your big bro... At least for once, dude!"
"Yeah, like that's gonna happen!," Asad shook his head with a deep chuckle and started for the building.
"Really? Then why haven't you still fought for the keys that are still in my unfaithful hands, eh?," Razin chuckled, his eyes holding a mischievous gint.
"That's because I trust you enough, for being my brother, Raisin! And I don't want another lecture from Mom about sharing and shit! And just leave before I tackle you to the ground, eh!"
Razin chuckled as he made way to the car and slid into the seat. He was just about to start the car, when he heard Asad.
"Hey Rais?"
Razin looked up to see Asad with his hands in his pockets.
"Yup?"
Sighing, Asad said, " Just don't do it in the car okay? I don't want my baby smelling from the awful shit you guys do in it!"
Chuckling, Razin proceeded to rev up the engine. "You got it, Ass!"
"And yeah... Be careful, Rais!"
Razin looked back at Asad, only to find him swing the door out and step into the building. He was surprised to hear his baby bro say such a thing. If anything, it was rare of him to show such emotions to anyone. Leaving out their mother.
But then again, he wondered if he meant about being careful about his car?
Exhaling heavily, he pulled the car out, shaking his head at the thoughts, before allowing his mind to be clouded with Laura's thoughts.
