Here's what I'd written in another thread today:

I think Zoya is completely unaware right now. She knows she feels
'unusual' sometimes about and with Mr. Khan but she brushes it off as nothing. So, consciously, she doesn't realize her attraction/feelings if they are indeed existent at this point in the story.

Her shayari line today was definitely foreshadowing. Asad is falling for her faster than we expected. Even when he pulled her away from the chasing guard, he was staring at her for a while before getting back to reality. So I think what will happen is that due to whatever urgent reason, they will get married. Asad will be in love with her and he would know it too but Zoya would not realize that what she feels for him is love (like you mentioned, Bheegi, her current idea of love is different- it's more of a candles, flowers etc version and it'll take a long time before she understands that what she and Asad share is love). And then by the time she realizes, some twist/threat comes up (raaz related) where Asad has to leave Zoya in order to save her (like Rashid left Dilshaad in order to save her). Remember that Asad had once said he fears turning into Rashid-that was quite some foreshadowing and I think that is what it means. Anyway, I think it'll be a while before Zoya realizes her feelings- it won't be before she meets Ayaan and Ayya have their own share of interactions- be it romantic or not.

Like you said, I'm afraid that they won't be in sync with each other as far as the timing of realization and confession of feelings are concerned. Yup, we're gonna be seeing some passion, intensity and pain in the future. Sigh.

Yeah I think that will happen. She might make that mistake but it hopefully won't go to deep (read marriage) before she realizes her true feelings.

Very nice update, bheegi. Haha, you wanted a scene with Zoya post dance and here I wanted a scene with Asad post the very same dance. 😆 Guess we are sadists and want to see our favorite character in an emotional turmoil! Sigh!😃

If Asad is a tough nut, Zoya can be a harder nut to break! And in the process, we will surely break our heads! Let's see what happens!

asad and zoya are different yet similar people...

Emotionally challenged, difficult to deal, stubborn, loners, scarred by their pasts, ready to go to any lengths for their loved ones, craving for love..

Ofcourse both have different ways of dealing with this facet..while one prefers to simmer slowly inside,the other spends all her energy to hide pain n loneliness..

Zoya has fancy ideas of love, so she is not able to understand how asad's presence affects her..

Asad thinks he is nor made for love, so not able to fanthom how he is unconciously changing for zoya ..

While Asad seems to be denial mode , Zoe is all confused and the realization that she cannot do without her Mr khan has not hit her as yet..

The dance threw both of them off balance and had sexual undercurrents but both refuse to acknowledge it..

i think both will need some kind of jhatka n separation to realise the importance of the other .. till tehn let the sparks fly... :)
