Hey Sangeeta, excellent post as always. I had to go four pages into the forum to find it. I knew you would write something well balanced.

The writers did a fantastic job today. Really liked that the affects of the slap are still there in both. Asad's horror atZoya's reaction was wonderful. His regret so real. Both actors did a great job. The two apologies are helping me get over the infamous incident.

The dance was a bit too choreographed for me...I wish it had more of a spontaneous feel to it as Asad being the guy he is dances to make up to Zoya. But I will take it as again the actors did a great job of conveying the emotion of the moment.

I totally get what you're saying about Asad moving towards Zoya and Zoya is pushing him away. Her extrovertedness is really a facade as she keeps the real Zoya well hidden from the world. Inside both are lonely people who were abandoned by their fathers at a very young age. Still dealing with the emotional scars.

Thanks Shelly. Yes, asad's redemption is being dealt with in a sensitive manner. After all, he is the hero of the serial😊 in real life, it's different but I am happy that he is sincerely remorseful. Yes, zoya has never been that close to anyone in life and this new realization is making her uncomfortable. Just like Asad uses his OCD to get back to comfort zone, she uses her chirpiness and hyperactivity to stay in her comfort zone. It will be a while before both realize that the comfort they get from each other can surpass all their feelings of insecurity and abandonment.

Their differences are just defence mechanisms to deal with their scars. For Asad to gain a sense of control and for Zoya to hide her pain.

But the reality is that inside they are both the same dealing with the same issues. I get goosebumps thinking how they will come together and the possibilities with the story. Hope the writers do it justice.

I think it will take a while before they cross that bridge...that's the only way to keep us all hooked to QH😉
