Emotionally challenged, Mr. khan?
A/N- ok so this is my first attempt at writing an OS. It's about the much anticipated AsYa dance on khuda jaane. I've used one of zoya's shayari which she said in yesterday's episode, that shayari is just way too funny and I need to get it out of my system. 😉 😆
"ok fine I admit, I lost the challenge." Said asad a little exasperated by the constant reminder of his failure by none other than Ms. Farooqui. 🤔
"Yes, now you have to do whatever I say." Zoya was beyond ascetic, and why shouldn't she, after all she had won the challenge and this is the second time it has happened. That means Mr. khan is at 0 and Zoya at 2. 😃 She self-patted herself for this achievement. But she knew that her jahapanah will never do as she says.
"I think its too late Ms. Farooqui. You should go to your room." Asad tried to shoo her away.
But Zoya pretended to not hear anything and continued. " now you have to do something romantic." She smirked.
"What? Romantic? With you?" asad was shocked. 😲 At his exclamation zoya started laughing, " no Mr. khan not for me, you just have to do something that tells me that you are not emotionally challenged, something that screams ROMANCE." She giggled at her own statement. 😆
"Emotionally challenged? You think I'm emotionally challenged, huh?" he glared at her.
"ofcourse Mr. khan, you know even if you fall in love you will find problems in that. This made me remember a shayari,
"jahapanah six packs kab kahenge mujhe koi mil gaya,
woh pyaar main girenge aur kahenge uff mera ghutna (knee) chil gaya." She broke up in a fit of laughter, while asad clenched his jaw, but deep down even he wanted to join her in her laughter.
"It's ok Mr. khan you can't do it because you cannot be romantic. Admit it Mr. khan you are not romantic at all." Zoya mocked Asad and turned. Asad had had enough, he grabbed zoya by her arm to make her turn back to him, thus making her collide into his him. Her head came on the crook of his neck while her arms were on his shoulder to steady herself.
"I'll show you Ms.farooqui that I'm not emotionally challenged." He purred in her ears.
His husky voice made her go weak on her knees. 😳 Asad held Zoya with one hand and with his free hand he reached for her I-Pad and played the first song on the playlist. He hit the play button and khuda jaane started playing in the background.
When the first line played, he twirled zoya so that her back was pressed to his chest. Zoya breathed heavily, Allah miyan, what is jahapanah up to? She questioned herself.
Asad twirled her again, he kept his one hand on her waist and pulled her closer to him, he took her other hand in his own and slowly started waltzing around the room, all the while looking in her eyes. He noticed zoya's parted lips, diluted pupils and ragged breathing. All these reactions made him smirk, so he was not the only one who was getting affected by this dance. Even he had trouble controlling his hands to wander freely and to explore her body.
Zoya saw her Mr. Khan smirk and she knew that he noticed the change in her reaction which made her blush profusely. His hand started caressing her waist slowly and leaned into his shoulder.
The both continued swaying gently to the rhythm, zoya rested her head on his broad chest while her hands rested round his neck. Asad lowered his head and placed his hands on the small of her back. Neither of them wanted to part, they didn't want this dance to get over. They just wanted to stay in each other's arms forever. Neither of them said anything their eyes did the talking.
To an outsider it looked like they were in a passionate embrace because that's what najma thought when she saw her bhaijaan with ZOYA standing like this with a romantic song playing in the background and candles burning in the corner of the room. She never thought that these two, who could not bear each other's presence, were dancing so passionately. "Is something going on between bhaijaan and zoya?" najma thought to herself, she realized that today zoya and asad were in his room for the whole day, even when abbu had come they were inside the room. Something was definitely fishy. Her eyes threatened to come out of her sockets as she stood gapping at the lovely couple who were so engrossed in each other that they didn't notice the voyeur that is najma. Najma soon recovered from her shock and cleared her throat to bring them out of their lala land, but they didn't hear the throat clearing. she cleared her throat again this time louder than usual but they continued to look in each other's eyes.
"bhaijaan." Najma tried calling asad but even that had no effect on them.
"ZOYA!" najma called loudly and it worked. Asad and zoya soon realized what had just happened, they both turned crimson on knowing that najma had seen them together. Najma on the other hand was enjoying to see her prim n proper bhaijaan blush.
"A-And that's how you d-dance Mr.khan." zoya stuttered, she took her I-Pad and ran out of asad's room.
Najma laughed when she heard zoya mumble a weak excuse. She looked at asad and raised her eyebrow.
"So bhaijaan'" she tried to tease her brother.
"Next time, knock before you barge into someone's room." He glared at her sister, however this statement made najma go into another fit of laughter.
"Sorry, bhaijaan I heard music so I came down to see what was happening but looks like I shouldn't have come." She giggled
"NAJMA" Asad said in a chiding tone, he was never more embarrassed in his entire life. That girl zoya ran away, how he wished even he could run away.
"ok ok I'm leaving." Najma turned to leave but before leaving she wanted to tease her bhaijaan one more time. "by the way bhaijaan, should I call zoya again to continue with your dance classes?" saying this she ran out of the room giggling leaving a very stunned but embarrassed and red as a beet Asad in his room.
"Ya Allah, I hope this girl doesn't say anything to ammi." He silently prayed to god.
