It's NOT about Asad and Zoya.

Let me tell you Asad and Zoya are the only reason i watch this show and they are wonderful characters.

It's about the screenplay.

Asad being angry - fine.
Zoya- accepting the apology- fine

Asad hitting Zoya because he was angry - NOT fine.
Zoya accepting Asad's apology in spite of being hit - NOT okay.

Who said it is fine?

It is always wrong.
Violence is always wrong...
If Zoya feels like forgiving for the reason that she feels Allah will be her protector...she does not judge or punish any one...what is wrong with that?

That's great. To each their own. You want to beat up your kid every time he/she does something wrong...that's your right as its parent. But since you asked if people actually believed that hitting a child was abuse...well yeah a lot of people think it is. And I would appreciate it if you didn't take a patronizing tone with me.

And to answer your question about my parents...since you had to bring it up...considering I am an adult, I don't think they would dare to raise their voice at me let alone slap me. After a certain age parents give opinions whether you follow them is up to you and I as an adult mess up then it's on me...NOT on anyone else. So thanks for your kind suggestion to call the cops on my parents. Btw, if they had ever beaten me...I would have.

Sigh

We're going in circles.

You're missing my point.

Let's stop here.

Apparently you didn't read your own reply to me because I am pretty sure you made a statement saying "okiess next time if someone do that with yu just complain even if your parent". Pretty sure that's you...and see you didn't ask me how old I was, funny isn't it?

Sorry, I didn't. 😆 If I had and if I was active here, I would have been super pissed. Thing is I started watching IPK, then a few other star plus shows thanks to IPK. Graduated to Phir subah hogi and a few other zee shows, then madhubala but lost interest... can't watch too many.

So I've missed quite a few in between. Right now, I watch only QH. And a bunch of other English shows.

Oh damn! 😆 It was a really good show and I vow the hero was absolutely absolutely amazing until he slapped her. I'm not even exaggerating with the 'amazing'. He was so overwhelmingly in love with her that he told his entire family off and left them just to support her since she was alone. Watch the first 40 episodes than quit straight away.

I watched IPK, have a like/hate relationship with the show. Madhubala lost interest and cannot stand the male lead (no offense to anybody). Used to watch a show called Kasauti Zindagi Kay (ONLY for the minor leads called Prem & Mukti). There was a show called Kaisa Yeh Pyar Hai (LOVED IT but now when I recall hero was violent. Heroine was also a beach). <<< I hope you understand what I mean when I say 'beach'. 🤣

Blah blah but fell in love with Geet. My god. The characterization of the hero was absolutely superb. He was so bloody just. Oh my .. I'm going to stop.

This is what I call heights of childishness. I cannot believe people have so much time and energy to write letters of complains to authorities concerned for a slap shown on a television show which was nothing but an impulsive action in a fit of rage. And whoever said that Asad had the " right" to slap Zoya because he feels 'haq' over her? Whoever said that the scene was supposed to romantic or the creatives were trying to glamorize violence? Show me one post that said -" wow...the slap was so romantic".

Seriously ...there are a lot of women in the real world who are victims of real domestic violence. Its high time we step out of our houses to do something for them instead of reacting over a mere fictional show.
