We are all scared for Ayaan entry in their relationship. For how the set is set from begining and I just hope whatever happens, she never actually marries him. Zoya and Jiju voiced the same words twice "She will be committed to the marriage no matter what". So it has to end with Asad..

Not sure how the story was given to Zee but from begining it never felt they were going with that story, Asad never had this conservative girl to start with and Ayaan and Zoya and too alike to be married, they can be buddy but with so many errors in them, their marriage can never succeed.. They both need mentor I feel..

As per Ms. Gul Khan's words, this is more of a family drama.

Ms. Gul Khan has been refining the story she has been wanting to show for a while and she has used it in bits and pieces in her previous shows - Geet & IPK - to test the waters.

Consider Geet - female lead accepts and 'falls for' her intended ...is now pregnant and then we have the actual love story with the main male lead.

IPK - all kinds of misunderstandings by the male lead regarding the virtuous nature or lack thereof of female lead, not to mention home-wrecker capabilities, intertwined with an 'irresistible' love.

The template for QH seems to be clear...
Zoya to marry Uhyaan by:

1. Uhyaan confessing his love to Uhsud and Uhsud stepping aside quietly.

2. Zoya-Uhyaan caught in a compromising situation and forced to save their 'good name'.

3. Zoya blackmailed into marrying Uhyaan for whatever reason based on her past.

Or perhaps several more reasons that I am sure soap-opera writers will cook up.

However, Zoya-Uhsud pairing has been pushed on us by not-so-subtle hints all through. The basis for this story then becomes:

- How Zoya loves one brother but tries to stay true to her marriage to the other brother.

Not to mention:
Uhyaan may or may not realize the Uhsud-Zoya setting immediately...so consummation will loom...or not.

Then we have the drag-fest for many months, at the culmination of which Uhyaan will step aside - by dying or divorcing or some other kind of sacrifice.

Will Zoya and Uhsud then get together over the ashes of Uhyaan's dreams?
Will Zoya by then love Uhyaan (like a good housewife) and not Uhsud?

And what about Houmayra?
Certainly a candidate for future cancer/heart/head issues...all symptoms being built up.

So will history repeat itself?
Will Uhsud be blackmailed to marry or pity-marry Humayra? (As in the sins of the parents - Siddiqui & Ruhzia - visited on their child?)

If he marries Zoya, will she be his second wife?

Will Zoya turn out to be Siddiqui's daughter?

Will it be a revenge marriage or a love-marriage?


Ah...questions, questions... but these are the kind of questions that plague soap writers and its audience.

However, while I'd love to see the rosy picture the TM has drawn for us, and some logic might agree, when it comes to soaps, all logic goes out the window.

For now, it has been a good ride so far.
(Zoya seems to be losing her pep, though)

If Ayaan-Zoya happens , it would not be much of a twist in the story also as everybody is kind of either anticipating it or dreading it happening and so knows that it can happen..a real twist is when something that the audience doesn't expect happens and surprises them isn't it?

Yes. this looks like a family drama and there are many tracks they can follow- Dilshad-Rashid story and what happened in the past including how he got married to Shirin, Ayaan- Humaira story(could be a heartwarming love story if handled properly), Nikhat- Imran story(may be what she face with Haseena bi as mother in law). unlike the story of a simple love story of 2 main leads there s so much the CV's can do with these characters.

I haven't watched any Gul khan serial before.. so can't comment on them.. All i can say is that, till now QH appears to be a quite well laid out story and they seem to follow out a story well thought from the beginning and planned ahead.. to me thats a good sign.

Somehow i don't see any of these three predictions coming true in QH... even if Ayan-Zoya gets married it will be due to some twist that we aren't expecting.. lets wait and see.

What reason is there for Asad to get blackmailed into marrying Humaira??? can't think of any.

Yes it's been a good ride so far...and as long as it continues to be good, lets enjoy the ride without getting too negative and apprehensive about whats going to happen.. and the purpose of writing the post was to help alleviate the apprehension some were feeling.😃
