Slapping does happens in marriages. We have seen it in Indian movie, but somehow this new twist is not appealing at all. Guess never expected it to go this way. Will this bring about something new? Don't know, will they kill Dilshaad? Don't know, I think the writers are getting to brave and wanting to shock the audience and keep them watching, but this is not shocking, this is distasteful!!!! Sorry... love the show to death but would not have written it this way. Lets see what this brings.
