@Ashrun Me and your thinking is on the same level I'd say as I am one who would want declarations of love if not daily but from time to time..I also think it's important to show in your gestures in how much you love someone...I would wnat my man to be very romantic,who would go to lengths to surprise me and I wouldn't expect it to be in a costly way either...as long as it's just me and him...like on a deserted island or something...that's romantic to me and love to me is when the person has undying,unflinching love for you , which is expressed through tenderness and care.I would expect my love to be there with me by my side as my pillar of support and strength through all my troubled and tough times.This story been an eye opener for me as I've realized that love is not all about these materialisic things in life.Life is not always a bed of roses...in reality the excitement in love does tend to die out but what we sometimes fail to realize is that love still lies somewhere in between all the dullness that has become.The romantic moments...gifts and flowers are all something which appears on the surface with the real pillar of love somewhere underneath all that.s.Love come in so many shapes and forms and it's all up to the individual on how they define love and what it really means to them as not everyone finds it easy to express their love in words or through their actions(Just like Asad) but that doesn't mean their love is not true.Every love has it's time and I'm sure we will all know when it's the time for our love too.

Well well a really nice post but for me love has totally different meaning !!
Its more that develops with time rather than being acute !!

Wowww! Awesome post for a minute there I suddenly remembered my late girlfriend and the fulfillment I felt when I was with her, your post touched every nerve and sensibilities in my heart and reminded me what a wonderful mystery love truly is.

@Thapelo Thanks for replying...sorry to hear about your girlfriend!🤗It makes such a refreshing change to have a guy give his view or take on love.You know I was just thinking this morning that wouldn't it be nice to get to hear more of a guy's view on what is love to them and hear I found you my friend.You are so right in saying that love truly is a mystery!Come on all you guy's out there...would love to know what your take on what love is too!
