nice wish list! one question though...him calling her tum. i'm still trying to get a good grip of the hindi language. so does tum mean that he is familiar and close to her? and aap doesnt?

Well, APP is used for someone stranger or senior, with respect!

TUM is used for people whom you LOVE the most, like relatives.

TUU is used for friends and family younger than you with extreme LOVE.

Aap is out of respect and tum generally is addressed as friendly kind of. In hindi aap and tum makes some difference. Tum is generally referred to one who we know for a long time.

Sorry if I'm wrong or something bcoz I too don't know much hindi
