More was needed. It was very rushed and there could have been so much more with these scenes that could have been done. I really had some high expectations and felt rather cheated.

For a change, I completely disagree with you.

Asad and Zoe tied together and its aftermath was as natural as possible in the given situation. They were completely in character and their interactions were as their equation is. The last scene was enacted to perfection by Karan and Surbhi and i don't think anyone missed their emotion and how well they expressed Asad-Zoe's hesitance and predicament. The song, the look exchange , every emotion was nailed to perfection.

The ME was not something Oscar winning but it was definitely not a let down.

The take that Hollywood takes and the take we take for the typical Indian audience are drastically different.

Just my POV like you stated yours.

u said it...thnQ.😊

  1. The last scene was absolutely overpowered by yash and arti and there were only glimpses of asad and zoya which was very little infact if they would shown yash arti inviting asya for a dance and there would have been a little couple dance where intially they show both of them feeling awkward and then gaining composure and having an eye lock while dancing i would have loved it a lot more
  2. The episode looked like it was aimed at showing ayaan humaira love story more that asad zoya love story as it was planned
  3. All characters were given more screen space and a lot of time as compared to asad zoya their scenes were barely for few minutes...I expecting a lot of only asad zoya.
  4. I feel instead of a Mahasangam if it would have been an exclusive qubool hain Mahaepisode it would have been lot better.
  5. All i was expecting that there would have been 80% on asad and zoya when actually it was below 50%(No doubt that the little bit scenes of both of them were magical but i felt why so little).
  6. Lastly i guess many members will kill me for criticizing so much but these are my honest views as a regular viewer of the show.Just hoping monday to be only asad zoya special to the maximum possible extent possible

Love your comments and you totally understand where I am coming from. It was not what was shown that was a problem but how it was done and how there could have been more. I totally agree with Number 3. The whole Asad Zoya storyline could have been executed far better and it was hardly there. They could have done so much more with it and they didn't - that's where I feel disappointed.

We hardly got any Asad Zoya - especially the chase, the arrest. A few lines here, a few lines there.

And let us not forget about the fact where are these two going to go to the restroom.

Plus there were scenes when I expected them to run and they were just walking and taking a stroll. Plus the motorbike scenes - realize they have no money but come on... it looked so unreal.

And the fact she does not tell Asad that the girl was raped hence the reason she helped her escape? I hope this comes out - that was so pivotal.

I hope Monday is better and redeems itself from today.

I replied to you on my thread but here's making things easier 😃

Fair points.

But I think the whole mahasangam didn't allow for very good editing. The scenes were rather jumpy and messed up. They had to give screen time to two set of couples and I think that could have taken of some points from Asya.

There isn't much 4lions could do if the channel demanded it. In spite of that I thought the direction of the way they escaped from jail with the sun showing down on them was a good one. Arshad Khan is very talented.

It was definitely sloppy. But in terms of the story progression, it was well done.

I hope it is better than today. I like the writers and will assume they were having a bad day.😉

Hi RC, don't get me wrong...there was so much they could have done and I feel somewhere they wanted to do more but either they ran out of ideas or they were more interested in the Humaira Ayaan story - that's fine but this was too heavily promoted as Asad Zoya and the ideas were great...Zoya and Asad on the run, chased by goons, handcuffed together...

There were good moments, but I really felt that there was so much more the writers could have offered. After a while I thought, what happened...I am forced to watch Punar Viviah. While I loved the scene with Humaira and Razia (she is a wonderful actress), I felt today should have been Asad and Zoya. It just killed it for me when they didn't take the time on these scenes.

It was just sloppy. And the previous episodes have just been written and directed very well.

Here I have to confess something, which I guess is the reason I found the episode more appealing.

I watched only about 20mins worth of content skipping all of PV parts and even Ayaan bits because really the guy can't act.

SJ has improved a great deal and KSG was at his best as always. Case in point during the random dancing I didn't even notice the other pair. Maybe it me reading too much into things but for me the episode showed that Asad trusted Zoya even if he didn't agree with her executions. To me that's character development.

In any case I'm sure things will be back to normal when the mahasangam ends. I don't like being forced to watch another show either.

😆😆😆

You cheated!

O yeah, that Ayaan guy needs work. THey did a smart thing last week and had him sleep in all his scenes. He can't screw that up!

KSG is a fabulous actor. SJ has been fine for me thus far.

But think about it - hardly 20 minutes? That's like what? I mean that had the key elements of a good plot and it just was so disheartening to see it so rushed.

I have not given up on the show and hope Monday will redeem itself. I have a lot of faith in this writing team.

I'm at a place where my expectation from the 4lions technical team is sub zero 😆

They have great writers and but a not so good technical team. Then again that's more of a rule to the Indian telly- vision industry rather than an exception.

Gul is my muse. 😆 I'm here for her.
