Thank you for understanding. Let us say I was very impressed with the past four days and was really stunned that today's episode just seemed very thrown together and rushed. I just felt it was too choppy and didn't make much sense. I felt dialogue was missing, story transition. What this needed was more time for Zoya and Asad.

I also felt like you that the last scene was way too much Aarti and Yash. I liked the few moments of her hand getting cut and Asad ignoring it and then him adjusting her dupatta. However, I feel so many viewers have read so much into it when I see this as two people sitting there awkwardly hoping this will be over soon. Not two people hiding their love from each other. I give credit to the actors for conveying these emotions as THIS is what I would have done if I was writing and/or directing that scene.

The jail scene was rushed; Asad putting Zoya behind him...didn't do it for me there...all of a sudden he cares for her after tearing her down? He rescued her because? There were so many missing elements - where was the uncle etc. I feel there was much more needed dialogue to add to that scene and the chase to the dabba. Let us say, there was need for more in those scenes - it was "here's a bit" and "here's a bit" and "there you are" and was like "that is all you have for us?" Come on. I am a cheated viewer.

True i mean i too felt cheated when it came to showing asya i mean there were not many dialogues too the scene where they were shown in that locked room was so dark i could not see their faces also properly atleast there should have been a small lamp in that room like how the jails normally have so that i could feel KSG and surbhi's sizling chemistry while watching...I guess me too had raised the bar so high after all the discussions and after watching the mahasangam promo that i was let down when i actually watched the episode because atleast in yesterday's episode their story did not move forward. No doubt that KSG stole the show with his marvelous acting in every scene but all i wanted was some more...i mean every ardent viewer of qubool hai will expect more of their loved jodi... Even i felt that it was a little bit here and there hope atleast monday will be so awesome that we may forget all the negatives of friday

Was really looking forward to the QH Mahasangaram episode and what a major let down with the Azad and Zoya scenes. They were choppy, short and very rushed. The Ayaan-Humaira storyline was far better executed and the highlight of the show was the scene between Raizya (what a brilliant actress) and Humaira. I was expecting more from the excellent delivery of the past 4 days; instead I saw a bare bones attempt at delivering what could have been some very witty and fun scenes. A lot of confusion as to who was chasing them. The boy's family? Asad's uncle? Both? Where was Asad's uncle? DId the girl escape to Bhopal to DIlshaad's house? Why doesn't Zoya tell Asad the truth about what she did...the girl was raped; surely Asad would be against this type of marriage? The few Asad Zoya scenes were frantically offered to the public and the last scene with the song dragged. And please, someone tell me how do these two plan on using the restroom? Do they have supersonic bladders? Had this been Hollywood or western tv, they'd have at least addressed this and made a humorous scene. Here's hoping for more QH on Monday and less PV. (Sad face).

Having watched a number of Hollywood films where two individuals of opposite personalities are caught up in mess and handcuffed together, I was expecting more. Even more after having seen some excellent writing and directing in the past several days.

This was a big disappointment...just seemed thrown together. It did have some good highlights like the scene where people mistake them for a married couple. The last scene where they watched Yash and Aarti dance showed them exhausted and stressed. I didn't read anything else into it and I don't think there needs to be. Image how awkward the two must be feeling handcuffed together - that's what I saw.

Love is going to be a long time coming for these two.

Very well put...my thoughts exactly...the Asad /Zoya scenes were very scratchy!

Love your comments and you totally understand where I am coming from. It was not what was shown that was a problem but how it was done and how there could have been more. I totally agree with Number 3. The whole Asad Zoya storyline could have been executed far better and it was hardly there. They could have done so much more with it and they didn't - that's where I feel disappointed.

We hardly got any Asad Zoya - especially the chase, the arrest. A few lines here, a few lines there.

And let us not forget about the fact where are these two going to go to the restroom.

Plus there were scenes when I expected them to run and they were just walking and taking a stroll. Plus the motorbike scenes - realize they have no money but come on... it looked so unreal.

And the fact she does not tell Asad that the girl was raped hence the reason she helped her escape? I hope this comes out - that was so pivotal.

I hope Monday is better and redeems itself from today.

  1. True that restroom point that u made is correct how on earth will they go to the restroom being handcuffed.
  2. As for your last point she could not tell asad about the whole fiasco as he was not ready to listen to her maybe if he gives a chance to justify her actions she would have definately told him the whole thing so that can be ignored for once.
  3. Ya the jungle scene, the bike scene everything went very quickly and honestly the set for Dhaba only was shown as the Bhopal court area so all the time when they used to show the PV cast standing outside i used to wonder how come asad and zoya reached bhopal running when they were in magalpur...the set thing was very noticeable that they used the dhaba set for showing bhopal and magalpur both.
  4. Me too expecting monday to be only asya love story beginning

Here I have to confess something, which I guess is the reason I found the episode more appealing.

I watched only about 20mins worth of content skipping all of PV parts and even Ayaan bits because really the guy can't act.

SJ has improved a great deal and KSG was at his best as always. Case in point during the random dancing I didn't even notice the other pair. Maybe it me reading too much into things but for me the episode showed that Asad trusted Zoya even if he didn't agree with her executions. To me that's character development.

In any case I'm sure things will be back to normal when the mahasangam ends. I don't like being forced to watch another show either.

I agree to what you have said even i do not like being forced to watch a show i am not at all interested to. Also i request if someone can please edit the mahaepisode to only asya zoya scenes that will be a treat to watch then. Ya just waiting for the normal qubool hai to start again

i felt exactly the same way!
After watching the episode, i felt very disappointed too.
I just felt that being chased and caught by police were very intense situations but they weren't treated as such.
There wasn't a flow neither were they enough zoya and asad scenes in the episodes. the scenes that were, were really rushed wheras due to the situation, they had the potential to be very great scenes if it was executed or directed properly.
When I cam on IF i saw everyone was gushing about the episodes, so I thought I was the only one with this view and thought maybe i had really high expectations so thank you for making this post :)

I hope I havent offended anyone with my post - just my take on the episode

Totally agree with each and every point you made & same as you I was VERY disappointed with the Maha epi espesh cuz of the promo which had me thinking it would be an Asad-Zo filled ep. But no they concentrated more on the Ayaan-Humera nonsense instead which BTW I hated espesh cuz what Razia did is just DISGRACEFUL & secondly cuz the guy that plays Ayaan is a terrible actor!!! I also loathed the fact that as a non viewer of PV I had to endure a combined QH-PV epi!!! Why couldn't they have just done them both separately???!!! All in all I felt the Asad-Zo scenes were too rushed and thrown together with no proper continuity & going off of that I am not holding out any hopes that the next epi will be any better!!!

I agree to a point that the episode did not lived up to expectation but they scene they did give us of Asad and Zoya was too short and indeed rushed. i also thought that the song they choose to end with was beautiful and it sets the mood for romance, n the few glimpse we got of Asad n Zoya was well acted but i thought that we would c maybe Asad comforting zoya or even him helping her. i mean something especially when they were in the room together, it was too dry.
Arti and Yash commanded the last scene hand dowm, would have been better if Zoya had laid her head on Asad shoulder or if they were ask to dance.
The last Scene can b open to all type of interpretation, just have to wait n c what they have to offer on monday. Also too much of Arti n Yash in last scene. It was more like they were promoting PV and just thrown in QH as a side dish.

To some extent I was disappointed too. The last week has been wonderful and for some reason I thought this special episode will take the level a notch higher. But due to the unwanted PV scenes and Rashid household's scenes thrown in between the AsYa scenes failed to make as much as an impact as it could have. It takes away the intensity and flow of scenes when you throw some really unrelated stuff in between .Anyway I read somewhere that the Monday episode will be more about PV than QH,so no hopes of a well paced episode. All i can hope for is they spare us the Ayan-Humaira drama for the day.

I agree to an extent that it could have been excecuted better but for me the Asya scenes especially the song sequence at the end was nailed to perfection...with both KSG and Surbhi emoting really well through their eyes and body language, the touches of all little mannerisms...the awkwardness, the awareness of each other's presence was just bang on with the scene. My only dissapointment is that it wasn't long enough just like all the other Asya scenes of the mahasangam episode but bearing in mind there is still Monday to look forward to and maybe we will get a more impactful extended Asya scenes where we may get to see some humorous scenes regarding the situation that they are both handcuffed together.I also agree with you that the actress playing Razia did an exceptional job and yes...the Yash/ Arti romance was shown more...but people have gotta remember that these two are a marrried couple who have acknowledged their love for one another, where as ASya still have avery long way to go before they even realise anything let alone love.As for ypu comparing this to Hollywood flick...well alll I can say is that if even Bollywood movies have a way to go before they can actually compare themselves to Hollywwod then this is just a TV show where they sure have a long long way to go before even reaching anywhere near that level but agree that some things shown could have been executed/picturised better...like I really wanted Zoe to mention that Maryam was raped by that very man she was going to marry and I wanted her to stand up a little more when Asad was being so judgemental on her parents up bringing but hey.. Like I've said before...there is still Monday's episode to come.
