No Zoya is obviously not guilty! It was da fault of her sister who insisted her 2 marry without knowing ger choice.

All i want to say that, no matter the situation, a person should not be forced into a relationship. This can have a bad effect in the two people' lives..here zoya, is in fact not guilty coz as per muslim belief a girl must not be forced to marry ...she has a right to say no...that's what zoya did..she was not happy , so she refused...

A girl is given the choice to accept or refuse for nikah...but is has just become a formality now. With the pressure of every one waiting for you to say "yes". She clearly has no choice.

Though running away from the marriage was a hasty decision..had she used her rights and said no...I doubt thing would have been seen in any other way. She would still be judged as the girl who ditched the groom.

She was right in her decision...she was not ready for this marriage and she took a step to avoid it..

But looks like Asad is going pass a judgement against her..without hearing her side of story. (Atleast for now).

We all take hasty decisions & repent later. Sometimes hasty decisions are correct sometimes not.

But I do not see Zoya's decision as a wrong one. She was being married off to someone whom she does not know!! And her reason to come to India was to look for her father😕

And moreover her closest relatives have forgiven her & moved on. Sometimes Asad can be so judgemental

Well I am in for a ride. But please please do not forget all the hurt that the girl has to endure in the hands of the man & just move on!! I hope u understand what I am talking abt. 😉
