But da truth is Muslim women in modern world does wear revealing clothes. Nothing abnormal in what is shown in t.v. Dnt have 2 take a look at Bollywoood, bt look at ur own surroundings & u vl get da answer. Its up 2 u if u find its r8 or wrong. Its not an issue 4 me at all. No offence meant.😊

your clothes do not determine whether or not you are cultured, which is one of the morals of the show. plus, a girl can wear whatever the hell she wants to wear..and whatever zoya wears is completely "decent".

your point about "attracting evil eyes"..i hope you start believing that when boys/men eve-tease a woman or worse, it is THEIR fault, not the woman's! you cannot abuse a girl/woman and then say, "oh she should have been expecting it!"! the girl can be in her lingerie..but that doesn't give a man the right to abuse her!

yes, most muslims cover up a bit more than most other cultures, but zoya too is covered from head to toe! ..and plus the character portrays the reality of women today..and women today of all cultures..are trying to be equal!

plus, your values maybe different to other muslims' values. you cannot generalise!

I have a turkish muslim friend who wears dresses in summer, bikini on a beach, jeans during cooler weather, eats pork, drinks alcohol and considers herself a muslim. Her whole extended family consider themselves muslims and are same. My point is not to debate whether it's right or wrong from the POV of islamic teachings but to point out that she's a real world muslim who is not questioned about her lifestyle and television/movies just reflects what actually happens in society. It's acceptable where she lives (US)and in her native country(Turkey). Its got to do more with culture and family background than religion.

even if she wears burkha, evil eyes wont stop... Your mentality is totally wrong.. Its not about relegion, its about girls dignity and the restrictions imposed pn her by society... I have many muslim friends and their parents doesnt mind if they wear jeans..

If you are going to preach about right and wrong than how about you practice one of the teachings of Islam which states "to never judge people". I'm Muslim and I find your comments extremely offensive and judgemental. I do not need to be told whether I am a proper muslim by a member who has no right to question my faith on the basis of clothing.

I wear jeans, I wear dresses, I have my hair out. At the same time I also give charity, I fast during Ramadan and I pray. Are you going to judge my iman just because I don't wear certain clothes? I have only given the Lord the right to judge me according to my deeds, so you have no authority to judge others.

Okay , so first of all : WHY is everyone mixing religion and it's followers ? :|

First of all , i am also a muslim girl leaving in France and i personnaly know thousand girls who wear jeans and tops that too very tight kind of clothes 😳 but is it becoz of this that the Relgion of ISLAM has to be defined , REALLY ? the way a girl shouldn't be judged acccording to the way she's dressed , a religion shouldn't too guys :) don't take me wrong but as per the RELIGION , islamic girls and also boys shouldn't exposed thier body shapes and that's a fact ! it's not because something is beeing showed in television that it has to be THE reality and vice versa ...

Girls have to cover every part of their body which shows their beauty and so attracts mans 😊 including their faces bdw 😉 i really hope this debate will be closed now ...and if you guys are not well informed about Islam then kindly don't get into a verbal fight to proove nothing :[ there's no point 😳 But once again don't be so JUDGMENTAL becoz this right is not our right but only Allah's 😳 i personnally don't wear jeans or anything like that , i wear hijab but still i have a lot of muslim friends who does and i still don't JUDGE but just try to show them the right path which has beeen gived us by ALLAH :)

Thank You :)

Ps: Neloufer , don't i know you ? :S & bdw you are not wrong talking about ALL this , you have the right to ask thing about Islam ;) and i guess Zoya will change her dressing way a bit soon and so Asad will change his way to think a bit too 😆

Yes, Even I am noone to judge someone. I leave it to Allah
I am not the one who has asked everyone to wear Hijab

It was God! Allah! I was just making it clear here.

Do you know Prophet Muhammad returned from a wedding just because the bride was wearing a tight dress?
