I'm only speaking from POV here cos I found this quite offensive ^^ First off Zoya doesn't even wear tight tops 🤔 And I'm sorry but I already know enough about Islam, and Idk why you feel wrong about it but I don't feel that I'm doing anything wrong by wearing jeans. If she didn't mean to hurt anyone well then she should be careful about the way she puts certain things and how it could come across to certain people.

And why is this being made into a big deal anyway, it's only a piece of fiction and as someone already pointed out, this is not the right place to have religious debates, it's better to have them with your friends or people you know personally cos they will understand you and your POV better!

dude...sorry to say but i know islam too, and i am not among those who will suport some act which is wrong for any reason just becoz i do it or i like it. i myself wear such clothes but i dont scream tht i am right just becoz i am doing tht act myself or my frnd is doing it, coz i am a mature person and i knw how to accept ur reality. we were only clearing out some misconceptions abt our religion (not to prove anyone bad or good just becoz of clothing style but just to make some clarifications abt religion) and were not proving here whts right and whts wrong in the serial, obviously we r here becoz we love it, i love zoya's charachter, her dressing, every thing, but i am never gona say that What i like is always Right be it a fiction or a oneshot stroy. The thing tht really forced me to end up commenting on this thread was people's misconception abt islam, and so End of debate from my side. coz i really consider it beyond maturity to discuss some thing some where where it does'nt belong any way. Thanks and Allah hafiz😊.

I could not decipher more than that from what what you actually wanted to say.🤣
I guess u wished to say that different people have different opinions. You are right. But the way an opinion is expressed is quite important and we should try not to create a post that might disturb the decorum of the forum.Isn't it?

we have just as much right to live as they do.

offcourse mens are asked to live in their limits too..men and women are equally treated in islam. but ur comment shows u hardly have any knowledge

I can surely understand ur condition dear.😆
I wish you might have a look at my thread entitled- Tahzeeb of Asad Ahmed Khan.I've also described few aspects of Islamic culture there but there is always a proper way to see things and here that work was done in the best manner,I must say.
I don't understand why people are involved in so much heated up arguments here..

Ahh I'm not even gonna bother explaining myself to you anymore, cos idek what you're going on about tbh, i don't really get how you can say something is so wrong and clear misconceptions about Islam when you yourself claim that you don't follow it properly Anyway have a nice life :) BYE <33

I am a Muslim and I wear the hijab. And I see nothing wrong with the way Zoya dresses! In fact I think she dresses modestly! She isn't wearing anything revealing nor tight. Her hands and legs are always covered too. Sometimes people love to complicate islam and its teachings.

With all due respect, I disagree. While some girls and women may follow the religious rules strictly, it is a PERSONAL choice whether one should or not. I find nothing wrong with Zoya's clothing style - she wears jeans (not shorts - not that there would be anything wrong with that!) and her tops always cover her arms.

I know some people might not be comfortable wearing those clothes, but you need to respect her choice to wear what she wears just as we respect your choice to NOT wear clothes like that 😊

Let's not be hasty in judging her based on her clothes - as Asad is. Clothing does not make a person any more or less worthy of respect and understanding.

Totally agree with you Neloufer!

They should have portrayed the muslim culture more decently compared to what they portrayed in Zoya, even IF she is an NRI.

We are NRI's too, but we don't dress like showing our bare hands either, forget stomach.

No offence, love QH, but this part was morally wrong.

This show can misguide the growing muslim girls and their perspective towards wearing of Hijab.
