Why did Zoya take all the fighting credit

Last night when Zoya was attacked by the goons then Asad came and helped her. But she didn't mention that to Dilshaad and Najma. She took all the credit for herself and lied that she all alone fought with the goons.

What do you think about this?
Why did she lied?
What stopped her to give credit to Asad?

I have a feeling that Asad might have told her to not mention him beating the goons up at home. But Zoya being who she is and being as impressed as she was might not have been able to control herself from retelling the action packed fighting experience-and in order to respect Asad's wishes, she might have taken the credit herself. I think we will have a flashback sequence on Monday that will tell us what happened after the fight.

princesjojo- That is an option. But if flashback is not shown then what can be her reason?

And moreover when she was describing the event then Asad was hearing from back with astonishment. And when Dilshaad asked Asad then Zoya looked afraid that Asad may reveal the truth. and she seemed relieved when he didn't do so.

Asad seemed surprised the way Zoya was describing, he sensed that she was impressed with him, i dont think that he told Zoya not to tell the incident tht he beat up the goons, but Zoya thinks she doesnt like Asad that much to admit that he saved her, also, it could be that she doesnt want anyone to think that she cannot handle herself, in the bottom of her heart she is thankful to Asad, but since there has been a lot of takrar between them, they wont confess the likeness in each other they find as the show moves on..it will be a very romantic moment, whn they will blast their likeness of each other and mention all the things together they went through..like Asad saving her today, it will also be highly emotional, Zoya accepting to Asad that he saved her!

its simple... she doesn't want anyone to know that asad saved her... she feels people would think she's unable to protect herself... so she bragged in front of najma and her mom, just to show them that she can take care of herself... also, she did not want to admit that she owes asad for saving her life because she doesn't like him...

I too was surprised with the reaction of Zoya. I think there should be something behind it. May be some genuine reason. Lets see,
