Hi all

I can't help but admire the way the writers have kept Asad and Zoya's tug of war active through the broken phone. The phone is now symbolic of who these two strong willed people are. Neither wants to apologize, nor want to keep the phone (that would mean an admission of defeat) At the same time, the constant ping pong gives them a chance to be in each other's face- a subconscious desire to interact with each other???😳

This is a very 21st century way to show 'pyaar and takraar'😳

OMG! I sooo agree with you! I could not think about it that way though but when you mentioned, i can't fail to realise that you might be correct!
But now Asad has to keep the phone with himself coz of losing the bet with Zoya. Let's see how they move this now and make them interact! :)

The broken phone showing up two persons pain points. The phone will keep them connected to express their pain initially..later on it will also be used to express their love may be.
Love this style symbolism. Nice
