Isn't it annoying how every other character seems to be picking on her skin and trying to demean her.. like I get it, she is dark-skinned and she doesn't get "rishte" but does her skin tone need to be mentioned in EVERY freaking episode? Wouldn't that be harsh towards the dark-skinned girls who're watching the show? And the way that woman said to Numayra, ab toh "gori chitti" hogayi hai.. maybe it's me but I barely see a difference between Nikhat and her skin tone, they're both brown (not trying to offend anyone but they're both dark) 😕

So the point is; this and Zoya's "Allah Miyaan, what's wrong with .." are seriously too repetitive and they should stop with it.. -_-

You can tell the CVs to stop showing people picking on Nikhat's complexion again and again however you can't stop people who do it on a daily basis to say , someone else like Nighat, but in real life.

I think what CVs are trying to do is tap into that aspect of many many desi women out there who probably hear the same insults everyday, who are belittled every single day just onthe basis of their skin color.They're showing its impact on the girl herself, how her smile vanishes and is replaced by visible anguish every time her "sanwala rang" is brought up. They're showing how it effects her as a person, how it effects her self-esteem and how the practice is entirely wrong & I think they're doing a good job.

The problem with Indian shows is that, they are always showing dark-skinned girls ugly & fair-skinned girls beautiful. This isn't the first time they are doing this crap.

They are showing it on purpose to establish a point about how this happens in society every day and how it effects the girl. If its shown in a show its not always meant to enforce the same views many times issues like this are brought up to raise awareness or to stop a practice and i think we will see that in the future in the show.

I genuinely don't understand what is with this white skin = beautiful, dark skin = ugly mentality?!

And here I live in a foreign country where these angrayzee mayms are obsessed with getting tans because they're 'too white' or 'too pale'.

*sigh* No one is ever satisfied, are they? We always want something we don't have...like I want KSG.

This issue will never stop & this is the realistic crap brown girls face in real life... brown=ugly white=beautiful...from people to tv shows to beauty products & movies enforce this belief upon people so indian girls like Nikhat end up believing they r ugly cuz they r brown its sad but they have been put down so many times that if u say they're beautiful they will believe its a lie😔

i think maybe the QH team is trying to show the social issue of brown girls and marriage😳 hopefully at the end of the day nikhat character grows to learn that brown aint ugly and stands up for herself maybe zoya might help her

the Allah miya wats wrong wid u... is damn annoying now (it was only amusing the first few times) now she needs some more vocabulary😆😳

bottom line is that models and magazines have made women so insecure with their bodies when the models on the page ur looking at are photographically enhanced or are on some really wacky diet🥺...but most women fail to realize that wat they want is impossible jus like the axe ad wid tons of chicks running at one man🤣

They are putting a point forward to the society that see, this is how you kill the confidence and spirit of a dark skinned girl. Nikhat is called beautiful by Humaira and Ayaan , but the rest are always degrading her. And that is how families , especially Asian families treat theirv girls, who are apparently not pretty enough. The creatives are just mirroring society and with a conflict.

I love Zoya's 'Allah Miyaa'. Its her line and it makes her special. She sounds adorable when mouthing it. 😆

Unforunately thats what happens right!,most of the Asian people are obsessed with white colour!And it really affects them i have seen many of them applying something or the other just too look a little fairer!!Even fairer actresses are more preferred than dusky ones,just because someone is fair no matter what she will be called beautiful and whenever there is someone dusky she has nothing special and she just looks good because of her makeup,thats what i have seen many people saying!!which is totally not incorrect!!i like how they raising this issue,although i hope they stop picking it like every single minute!!

i agree its what happens in reality and they're just gettinga social message across. the same happens to my cousin, she is dark skinned and is always reminded about it as if it is a sin. Some dark skinned people are prettier that the fair.
