lol..advantage of having a massive muslim family..!!!

You're right...Muslims can marry their first cousins..it's permitted..and also the husband can have four wives..and I think Asad is right in his place to be pissed off at his father..

yupp..massive muslim family..helps me figure things out as well..though thank God I don't have all those issues they have in the play..! lol..

A muslim man can marry four times if he treats all his wives equally and provided the first one agrees. In todays day and age this is virtually impossible and hence the statement has become void. So what Asad's father did was terribly wrong and Asad has all the rights to be mad. Especially when he looks soo good when he's angry 😳

Ya its there that muslims cannot marry their real siblings i.e the one from same mother. They r called family nd else cousins r nt considered so they cn mary their cousin...

Thank u.. This really helped... Coz except for the main characters, I was confused who anyone was, I was mainly getting confused coz the 2 girls were sisters n ayaan was flirting with one n calling the other his sister, but now I get the cousins thing.. Thanks a lot

@bold: Actually the husband doesn't need the first wife's or any wife's permission/agreement. But he does need to have a valid reason in accordance to islamic law...which I won't get into here...😆

Anyways...Herein lies the reason for Asad's anger.

Yes his dad took on a second wife...(Ouch! That's a slap to the ego in itself)...but far from treating them equally...Rashid Khan decided to abandon his first family altogether... 😡...that too for the sake of material gains.

What I'm confused about is ...is the Mamoo that was introduced Shirin (Ayaan's mom) real brother?
