I totally agree with you. As per the promos, I was expecting to see a bright and happy and chirpy Zoya. But the fact that the CVs decided to show the emotional and independent side of her was well played. I know right? I wasnt sad or put off but was just surprised ! Hence liked the episode coz it dint start with the usual happy go abouts like I though it would ! 😆

Now normally I don't get too emotionally attached to characters that I know absolutely nothing about; but Zoya here, well she definitely made me tear up. It was just too beautifully executed and I personally can't wait to see more from her. Definitely ! Looking forward to way more of her ! :)

I think she was very much in synch with what I saw in the promos...well ..okay she wasn't chulbulli today...considering the circumstances...but she was shown to be strong-willed, determined, and steadfast enough to do what her heart feels is right.

The groom's family at the wedding though..🤢...was way OTT. I mean if she doesn't want to marry you...she won't...why try and force the issue? But it does happen in real life hun .. 😳 I'll explainn it later to you, Im in a hurry right now :)

That's why in the nikkah they always ask the girl first...so she has the right to decide.

Yeaah zoya did a great job. love the way they introduced her. she had the guts to say "Qabool nahi hai" infront of all those ppl knowing it was the best for her even though it wud cause her sister and bro-in-law a bad rep.
