I don't think he will be shown as a terrorist, instead he must be an Indian intelligence officer and this new guy his Pakistani counterpart.
He will be positive but the main twist according to me will be that his some mission must've gone south and Preet's family would have died in that shooting because of him.
About him being real Ishaan Hooda I don't know, maybe he is maybe he isn't.

cant think of anything right now. I dont think this is going in "FANA" way.

Ishaan is not a hooda but some officer investigating some attack planned by terrorist attack on both India and pakistan. Hence the officer from pakistan helping him in this secret mission

I dont think Ishaan will be terrorist. cant be. In that case he cannot be shown as sensitive towards his family ie preet and kavya especially.
